To call a player overrated, worst pointguard, worst defense and completely terrible.....You sound like some mad parent that is jealous of Haley because she is getting alot of playtime.

I agree with how good Haley Meeks can be. Being that I'm old school it reminds me of how a Larry Bird or Magic Johnson played. Her passing skills and court awareness of where the ball should be passed for her team to score easy buckets in transition is phenominal. The skills that she's got can't be taught. It's something that all players need, but few players obtain. So with her leading Grundy and the talent she has around her the skies are the limit.

The Grundy girls defeated a very good Coffee County girls team. Haley Meeks played another great game, scoring and spreading the ball all over the court to her two good post players, Coffelt and Wiseman. All three of these girls are under classmens, plus Grundy has got some more good young players in Stiefel, Grimes, Bramhall, Cleek, and more. So if these girls continue to play together an improve don't be suprised if Grundy adds another gold ball to the trophy case

Grundy's got a good freshman, Haley Meeks, that should be able to feed the post players the ball, plus can score herself. I look for Grundy to be hard to beat. Haley if you read this don't hit me with the ball...lol

This is a toss up. Grundy must play better than they did their last two games or they will lose big. But I predict coach Holt will have the boys ready to play, so I pick Grundy in a nail- biter.

Both are great players, I think Cartwright plays with a little more poise than Scissom, but I'd say they're about even. Scissom plays with alot of emotions, and I think he might get down on himself if he makes a mistake, but he don't make many. He has recieved some great coaching from coach Newsome, possibly where he gets his fire on the court from being he is a firey type coach. He will be one of Grundy's all time greats. Grundy has got some good freshmen coming out next year too. If Grundy keeps their heads together, I think we got a chance to win the district. I'm not apologizing to anyone, if me calling him "Super Freshman " got our boys fired up to play like they did last night, it was worth it! I said in my posts we had players that could slow him down, read before you post. I would never disrespect any of our boys, I'm around them ever day and think alot of them and hope they know it.

I'm so proud of the boys for playing the game I knew they could. Your coach believed in you but better yet you believed in yourselves and it payed off. Tonight you played and beat a good team, because you played as a team. So now all the teams in the district will be gunning for you, so now is when the real challenge begins. I pick Grundy to win but if they play the same game they played against Franklin look for Grundy to get BLOWED OUT I wish the games was on Friday not Thursday where people that has Big 8 games could be there.

have u seen the SUPER FRESHMAN play? IF you have then you will know that he plays point and runs the offense not looking to put up big scoring numbers, but if he needs to score i'd say he could. But I think we've got guys that could slow him down.
