If Roop would fire off the ball low with a purpose... well that is a scary thought. I hope he decides to do this Friday! Also, I noticed that you guys like to play d with 3 down lineman. Do you think South Pitt will do that against Hampton?

of course, you can only get so low when your are 6 ft 7 and 360 like Roop.

I agree with you totally. This game in my opinion will be won in the trenches. Both teams have great lines. You are right about the high observation. Hampton's line could be a lot better if they would play lower. This is an interesting match up. I hope Hampton's line brings their A game.

zone pirate, How many players did South Pitt lose off of last year's team? Also, how do you think South Pitts' line compares to Hampton's line?

Hampton lost Joe Lee George (lineman), Adam Townsend, and Jonathan Lyons (wide receiver). I may be wrong, but I believe that is what they lost. Return majority of starters for the past three years. After watching South Pitt and Hampton, this looks to be a classic!

This will be a game worth the price of admission. What South Pitt fans need to realize is almost all of Hampton's seniors played against Trousdale Co two years ago in the semi's and they are battle tested. They are 37-4 in the last 3 years. Hampton will have to play a mistake free game in order to have a chance to win because South Pitt is the real deal. However, the Hampton seniors have been here before and they are going to bring it for 48 minutes and leave it all on the field. It is a shame that one of these teams has to lose. Two class act programs! Good luck to both teams and whoever wins.... bring the gold to the east!
