Two great teams and two great coaches... The difference: One coach giving instructions and sitting back and wathcing them get carried out. The other coach calling plays, watching 4 of his players in position to run the play, while the other, with tourney MVP on her mind, ran her own play... leaving her players out of position to get the rebounds, thus giving Forrest many extra trips down the floor. Monday night MC played as a team and looked hard to handle. Last night, the best TEAM won. Good luck to both! Either one, when playing as a team, can play with any team in the state.

The Raiderettes are still without Kight, one of their toughest defenders and 3point threat, who is recovering from knee surgery. They are also still trying to learn the new system of their new coach. They should really be solid by Christmas tourneys. From previous posts about Summertown, sounds like they may be having a rebuilding year, but look for them to come ready to play. I think I heard that their new coach had played MC a few years back. ?? Good luck to both teams!

I heard a rumor today that one of the top 9A teams might be getting even stronger before the season tips off. I think it's going to be an exciting season!
