  1. I was very surprised to see the poor performance by Riverdale, i was expecting a much better team but it is also spring practice so they didnt seem very prepared....very good job by my rebs i thought they played great!!! also i play defense for coach webb and i love him being my coach and am really blessed to have him teach me! i kinda though our defense would be hurting this year but they played pratty good! coach webb always knows how to keep a great defense!
  2. Franklin and Riverdale scrimmage this friday, May 16th. What are your predictions??
  3. No. also Jamal Starnes, JD Jervis, and Eric Brown are also returning starters/partial starters and we have good back up with a great defensive coach. I think we will be fine, you need to worry about CHS ahah i was jsut trying to get this thread attention
  4. As for our offense, there is not much to say. We had a young O this year so almost everyone will be returning. Graham Nichols improved a lot this year and will have another yera to make his O even better and improve on his skills. Keylo Lee is a powerful running back, only a sophmore this year and Jarrel Eaton will be returning at wide reciever. We are losing a few great lineman but we also had a lot of juniors start so they will also be returning such as Andrew Combos who is a great tackle, Alex Edrinken and many others with a few big and athletic sophmores. With the whole offseason to improve, I beleive Franklin will dominate our region next year so be ready. Go rebs
  5. No one is posting anything so ill reply to get this thread attention. I dont care about you hijacking this thread but id like to say the announcer was not even the blame. He was classless but who cares the game was decided because of the reffing. Anyways its over so we will come ready next year to sweep independence and this is my outlook on next season: Franklin D is notorious for being a fast and smart defense. Coach Webb has to be one of the best defensive coaches around and he knows how to break down offenses. We are also a big blitzing team because of our speed and athleticism. We are loosing key defensive players this year such as Daniel Campbell, Casey Dikes, Justin Hampton, Max Camp, Benny Anderson, and a few key d-linemen-Andrew Montgomery Carter Mcphee and Yohance Butler. These players were great athletes and led our defense and i take my hat off to appreciate their effort and honor their contributions but in no aspect am I afraid of our defense next year. We have JD Jervis, a returning D-tackle who is tough and athletic and got a lot of experience this year starting most of the games. We also have other big defensive lineman returning from injury such as Nick Gordon who was out most of the season due to breaking his collar bone. Returning we also have Eric Brown who is a very athletic corner who also got a lot of experience last year at corner and returning kickoffs. Also we have Cole Nathan who was a starting MLB last year who left the season early due to breaking his tibia and fibula. He has a lot of experience from his sophmore year and starting some of this year so he will also be a key player. Also, Michael Constantine, a sophmore got a lot of playing time this year and has improved a lot and is looking to improve a lot in the offseason. We also have Jamal Starnes who started his sophmore year and junior year and is a key player in our defense at the saftey position. Ramsey Sellers is returning next year and is a very versatile athlete and will definitely contribute to both offense and defense. Also, I dont want to talk about myself so i will talk very minimal but i went out early due to tearing my acl and I will also be returning next year.(Mitch Pratt). Also a new addition to the linebackers is Jonny Jones who is very athletic and plans on improving at the OLB spot. We have a few spots to fill but our team is filled with a lot of athletes so I am not worried about that.
  6. Honestly I think this will be a clean sweep for Millington. Indy goin into unknown territory and never been this far in the playoffs, I think they dont know whats coming because of their lack of experience. Im not just saying this cuz i play for franklin but id be really surprised if you come out of there with a win. Although, I would love to see a team from our region make it to state. good luck cause i think youll need it
  7. its already been started and really i should be telling you to have a nice offseason because you have some spaces to fill
  8. Franklin is losing key defensive players and a few key O linemen...Can Webb keep his tradition of having great defences? and how will Claytons offence do?
  9. i see youve seen the game film agian...i havnt so mines a little foggy but i see...have you seen any highlights of millington?
  10. Those two terrible calls costed us the game cause we could have had that fumble on the 30 which is easy scoring range...tounchdown and feild goal range but whatever yall came up with the win. Good luck against Millington cause your gonna need it and I cant wait to see yall again next year p.s. the heart is for you
  11. Who cares about the announcers. They arent to blame. They were rude because they should have honored that we played a great game instead of blasting crank dat soulja boi and saying we can go home. That was definitely classless especially coming from a grown man. Sam Roley(#33) is a highschool football player just making the game interesting and everyone knows there was jaw jacking the whole game so we arent gonna point fingers at players. But like i said the announcers arent to blame: the referees are to blame. They made horrible calls which were very critical in the game. That bomb that was called a catch on the goaline was a terrible call. That fat official didnt even see that daniel campbell actually had the ball and dropped it and luckily the indy reciever trapped it. That led to their second touchdown putting us in a deeper whole. We came back and scored at the end of the half so it really should have been 7-7.Then we came out in the second half and dominated scoring again to make up for the 14 point defecit. Our D held Indy to nothing and what makes me even more mad than that lucky catch is the when we stood up the little qb and he CLEARLY fumbled the ball and we recovered and the one ref pointed our way then the other ref who didnt see jack and wasnt even near the ball said he was down by contact. The funny thing is indy isnt saying anything about how lucky they were that game. Even indy players have told one of my teamates that they got lucky and we should have one so watch the tape and see it yourself. I cant say anything about the bomb that justin hampton dropped and the lucky catch but those calls that were made were just rediculous. Id also like to say that i think the qb #7 is overrated and i cant wait to play against him next year. =)
