Just for some of your some of you who do not know about this team. They won the USFA fall state tournament and a tournament in Hoover Ala. This team is made up of some girls that won the USFA World Series when they were 10. They used to be Southern Shock when they were 10 and most either played with Worth 94 or Xtreme Edge when they were 12. We use both here, my thing is a player should be able to adjust to the ball jsut like they have to adjust to big holes in front of the mound whats the difference.

Played in the Bob Jones tournament this weekend and the coaches for Sparkman made the biggest deal over using an Alabama ball compared to a Tennessee ball. I thought all softballs were yellow and round. They delayed the game arguing with the umpire about the ball until he swapped. Isthatright from what I can see it appears to be going pretty good considering the last to scores (13-2 over harpeth and 14-1 over Fairview) the coaches and girls seemed to have rally together and are doing things right but we will wait and see. The dedicated ones will be here in the end and thats what counts.

They lost to Creek Wood last night 9-1, lost to Riverdale 8-1,beat Obion and Waverly but do not know those scores.

You can sure tell the people on this side of the game really don't want this game to happen by the non response it is getting. They need to quit being selfish to the kids and make it happen.

I just don't see where that has anything to do with the 2 schools playing each other. The only people that seem to have a problem are the people on the south side of the county.

When will the day come that CW and DC square off in a varsity football game? I can only think of positives for these 2 in county teams to face each other in a varsity football game. You can shut down the county like you did during the state championship in 88, the gate money for both schools will be enormous, the kids from both schools are dying for it to happen. This could be one of the biggest in county rivalries in the state because of the rich football tradition. And it sure can't be because one team is more dominant right now since they only have 1 victory between them. Everyone involved in making this happen needs to sit back a think about how good this could be for both schools and get the chips off their shoulders and MAKE IT HAPPEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Never figured out why those 2 never play either, why people can't think about the atmosphere of rivalries and put their silly feelings aside.
