  1. I would really like to give you the facts since our students, players, and fans are reading this and asking us about it. Joe has not applied anywhere. Once again, he is very happy at Henry Co. He was contacted by Oakland, but, even though he thinks that it will be a good job for someone, he told them he did not intend to leave here. He has not met with Oakland officials, and he has not been interviewed (and he has never been to the Oakland campus. In fact, when OR played them, it was at MTSU and at Lavergne.) This rumor has gone so far that even the Nashville Tennessean and the Murfreesboro newspaper contacted him for an interview about "the announcement" that he was going to be the next coach. At that point, Joe called an Oakland administrator, and the two of them had a good laugh. Therefore, I can understand why people might believe this. However, there is no truth to it.
  2. I am really she ("she" is the correct pronoun because it follows the linking verb "am," making it a predicate nominative - the English teacher in me). Joe never reads on here, but I frequently tell him what I read. We have bought a house in Paris, we love the kids, and we will be here. Of all the places he has coached, this is by far our favorite. The football support is unequaled anywhere.
  3. I read on here daily but do not post often. However, I can tell you for a fact that Coach Gaddis does not want to leave. He loves it here. Talk is just talk.
  4. I read Coacht daily. What else is a football coach's wife supposed to do while he is at practice all afternoon? I wanted to reply to the message about Coach Gaddis getting phone calls. I don't think anything negative was intended by it. Coaches get calls all the time. That does not mean they are looking to leave or even responding to the calls. We are VERY happy here. We love the community, the schools, the football team, the football support, and, especially, the kids. We are very sad right now for the kids and the community. We wanted to be a part of going to the state championship with this group. Thank you so much for welcoming us to your town and for supporting Joe and the other coaches in their efforts. Let's make the trip to state next year.
