  1. Ha no I knew it was you. I quoted the Commando Pride dude in that one. I'm guessing he's from Hendersonville.
  2. Any Hendersonville bias? lol jk man. I agree with the Daniel Hannagan being one of the best if not the best.
  3. A 300 game isn't everything in bowling. And all 300 games at state tournaments have come on a house pattern. I'd have to say Kyle Barnes is the best bowler to ever bowl in Tennessee. He has proven that through his success in USBC collegiate bowling.

Oh, I knew you got 5th. Haha, I was keeping up with it on tssaa and my mom was updating me. Not much man, college life is pretty good. Classes are kinda tough but it's alright. I'm trying to start a team here right now..I'm not sure how hard that'll be.

I'm guessing you're Matt..lol. But, congrats to you too. Runner-up as a sophomore is pretty impressive. I can't say I remember seeing you bowl, but I bowled with Scott last year at state in the qualifying and semi-finals. You guys must have a good team.

Just want to say congrats to Stephen Roberts for winning the Division I state tournament. I know he's put a lot of time into his bowling on sport conditions and he deserves it.
  8. Clearly they bowl for the teams, pal. You shouldn't come in here and post something saying who cares about these teams.
  9. Gary Faulkner..definitely. He went 1st and 2nd in two years. He is definitely the favorite to win next year.
  10. Well, I think it is up for grabs at this point. Centennial should return 4 starters, yet, the two starters that are not returning were the only 200 average bowlers on the team. Overton is returning the top two bowlers in the district that are not seniors, but losing Michael Inman and Justin Anglin. Page is losing their top 4 bowlers, but they find ways to win; they'll have Joe Finn, Blake Green, Nick Gordon, Shawn Moon...that's all I know. Franklin should be pretty strong, only losing Brock and Reid, and gaining Zach. I would say every other team is out of the question. But, right now, I would say Overton or Franklin.
  11. It's because Division II does not have sectionals. The Division II brackets have been done for a few days now. The Division I brackets are up now though.

Dude, I might have to stop posting on this because I'm allergic to bullcrap. But, you are the one who talks crap. I am saying facts. You did average 185. What do you think you averaged in '06? I'm not going to bowl you to prove anything. I have better things to do with my life.

Dude, you have not shot 17 300s. You only averaged about 185 when you were on the high school team. What are you talking about 3rd in the State in High School? That is the most bullcrap statement I have ever heard. And Stephen averages 198.77 and Markus averages 197. Not 213 and 204. Beat Kyle Barnes and Chris White, no, they averaged 230 and 219 respectively.
  14. I meant bystander, typo. Ok, so. I have not brought the teams up over and over again, it is merely a connection to what you are saying. You seem adamant that every team at state should be there, while completely adamant that every individual should not be there. Bowlers averaging in the 180s made the semifinals last year and finished very well. So, an average around 180 can obviously bowl better than the other averages over 200 who did not qualify for the semifinals.
  15. Look, I understand you're talking about individuals. And thank you, I think I know more about the state tournament, seeing as I have qualified two years, whereas you are only a bistandard. And no, there are teams that always shoot well under 3000 pins at the state tournament, so they should not be there. Every district has to be represented. Any averages from 170 up can do well at the state tournament.
  16. You just don't get it. Many districts bowl on easier patterns; so a 210 in one district could be equal to a 185 in another district. Some people averaging under 170 make the tournament, but that's what has to happen for the tournament to be fair. They could be better than some averaging 210 anyway. THERE ARE ALWAYS TEAMS TOO THAT SHOULD NOT BE THERE. It is how the tournament works. Other regions are weaker than others. If you cannot average higher than 4 other people on the same patterns...you should not be able to compete for the individual title.
  17. With all the different teams throughout the state, there is no way this would be possible. Besides, everyone bowls on the same house at the state tournament. The way the individual tournament is selected is fine. An 8 person individual state tournament would not be very interesting.
  18. Every district needs to be represented. People who averaged in the 180s and 190s qualified for the semifinals at singles state last year. If there were a requirement of a 200 average, then many inflated averages from easier houses would make up the participants in the tournament. If you cannot average higher than 4 other people in your district then you should not be at the state tournament. You have enough chances to prove yourself throughout the year. Yeah, you want to find the best bowlers in the state tournament, but the best bowlers prove themselves through averaging in the top 4 and bowling their best at the tournament. If you are 5th or 6th, you need to wait until you get better.
  19. No, there shouldn't be a district and regional tournament for individuals. If you bowl at the same houses as 4 other people and cannot average higher, you should not make the state tournament. The better bowlers in the state end up making it to the state tournament anyway. And besides, there are definitely bowling alleys that are easier than others...

  21. Ok pal. It's just funny how you mentioned two smyrna bowlers.
  22. Ha, thanks for repeating that. Sounds like someone likes Smyrna bowlers.
