Is it true that only the top three teams from north and south advance to the tourney? that's what i've been hearing..what's the truth to this??

First off, i put McMinn Central's field as one of my top picks, so your gonna start stuff when somebody comments you, real mature bud. Way to show some class. Also, we had one little bitty divet in our out field from a whinney left fielder that was mad that his team got beat, so he decided to take it out on our left field grass and dig a hole with his cleat...OH YEA THAT WAS MCMINN CENTRAL, almost forgot. That's fixed though. as far as the field goes for central, it's not that bad,NOT the best, but pretty nice. Alcoa has the best field by far, hands down.

we played alcoa at alcoa, we played 13 innings loosing in the bottom of the 13th with a questionalbe call. it was a really good game, it was a defensive battle/pitcher duel, both teams hit the ball hard at times but neither team made barely any errors. it was a exciting game though. final score ended up being 4 to 3. each team threw 3 pitchers and both sides pitched really well tonight. who did you guys play?

They def. did improve, but if you hit the ball, you should beat them.

They have some speed, really good catcher that can hit, and throw, he's new there from fl. but no pitching.

i think that's who everybody has their eye set on, haha.

Well both clubs gave up too many errors...but the blue and gold was to hot with the bats tonight. good game, good atmosphere...can't wait for tomorrow!

i know, i'm proud of them myself for scheduling good teams. lol, and i love the humor...this isn't last year, the year before that, nor the year before that..this is now. let's let the players do the talking out on the field with the gloves,bat, and the ball.

God works wonders, i'll keep him in my prayers that he is having a sucessful recovery.

Maybe they will learn how to loose and tip they're hat's if a teams better instead of whine and make excuses. That's about the only good thing that can possibly come out of them making the trip to knox. I never said anything about us, but it's pathetic you guys talking your selves up on here all the time. Play them, then talk. Don't brag about scheduling good teams till you've actually played with them, anybody can have a hard schedule...and if that's a good reason to get on here and brag, then there should be about 50 teams on here talking about how good they are cause of who they play in april. IT'S MAY that counts. Everyone knows that. See ya in april bud.

hahaha, i can't wait to see the anderson county game, i hope downs runs the score up on you guys for that comment. And Farragut....that should be over in 5...maybe even 4 who knows.

i think sweetwater has one of the nicest fields around, the outfield wall is one of a kind around in the area. so it's in my opinion it's in the top 10, walker valley has one of the nicest high school facilites that i've seen. McMinn Central isn't that bad either.

Tuesday was alot like monday should of been, the Cat's beat the bear's 17-4. Derek camp got the start and went 6 innings of work giving up two earned runs but few too many walks. The cats were pretty solid in the field, and the bats were on fire, all the seniors came through and had alot of big hits like they should. Nathan Barger, Jordan Monroe and Derek Camp all had multiple rbi's along with camp's 7th inning grand slam. The cat's have a solid 1-9 at the plate, with power and some speed in the mix. Soph Matt Ellison is in the make of a break out season and could see alot of action on the mound in the next 5 games. Fresh Shane Cox came in relief for camp in the 7th and did great. It should be a good series, and the cat's are ready for the game on monday as well!

Considering only having a coach for at the most two weeks before playing those games...that means nothing. All that means was that they were seeing all the possibilites for spots on the field and the lineup. Those were pre season games that meant nothing, but not only are they 2-0 in reg season and district, they put up 23 run's in two games. We'll see how they do this weekend and monday and tuesday. I don't see how putting the details about a win up was flaunting.

don't foget about chris johnkins from sweetwater. he's dunking more of a regular basis now.
