believe me HG, this is an arguement you will not win this guy, he is a coach a GCA and he is never wrong. they will keep going on and on about it,they have a good team,and his son is a good ball player,but AC is out of their league at full strenght, congratulations a good win though.they are the luckiest team on earth or just (blessed).HA.HA.....

yes they did,wartburg led most of the game,we're just now starting to show signs of how we should play,they started off fast and we couldnt buy a bucket got some good looks just wouldnt fall,but we hung around long enough to get the offense going,were down 16 in the third then took the lead with about a minute left,controversial calls didnt help our cause any but,they beat us,give em credit they played hard.We just havent had enough time with our football players to get them in basketball form,but we are going to be just fine in a few weeks.These are some good games to play early to get us ready for district games.

ram fan are all these guys idiots or do you just like to try to put kids down,these people have seen him play,aau and regular season he wouldnt be on their lists if he wasnt a very good ball player,last year as a sophomore he had a lot of great accomplishment,all district,alldistrict tournament team,led his team to twenty wins, first time in twenty three years this isnt grace recruiting academy this is greenback all that as a sophomore, even tied for leading scorer,also leading rebounder,plays really good defense(same stats against L.c. and w.b. AAA schools).

sir, you are right about tonights game, i even went to talk to jerry about mykal because he just didnt look himself,undoubtly their was an accident monday night after practice on his way home,he didnt get hurt but he almost totalled his vehicle and they he was pretty upset over the ordeal,but to say this kid does not belong on the list of some of the best players in knoxville area you are wrong one game doesnt change that.I've seen this kid play aau and fall league he is a really good player.Greenback doesnt get region runner up,district runner up, substate birth without this kid,plays great defense and can score any where on the court,just ask gov-man and some of the area coaches that have coached or played against,this is just the third game,but after the way they played last night,not knowing his back ground i would have agreed with you,also when we needed the win who took over on defense and offense,i believe it was titlow who got us the lead with numerous blocks and steals in tne last five minutes,after that just let sabo hold the ball and get fouled.and these guys are going to be just fine got to get in sinc, only one practice with some of the football players back a little premature to bash yet,let them play some ball first.

dont forget about the titlow kid from greenback maybe a small school,but this kid is one of the best juniors around good size 6"4, 200lbs can jump out of the gym,turned greenback into a contender first year there as a sophmore.lead them to substate first time in 23 years.

tssaa said they would not be able to play for grace (regardless) if they transfer will have to sit out a year even if they moved since in knox county. same rules as public schools.kcs and grace are in same county.there was never a co-op agreement in basketball omly football.

this thread is for real football fans,your season is over let it die,gca has started basketball,let real football fans talk football,this is exactly why most everyone bashes grace, you all are sore losers and even worse when you win,learn humility and also learn how to be gracious,it only takes afew nuts like you,to get people to despize you.i know alot of grace fans personally and you do not represent them very well.

well it seems wierd talking about basketball with FOOTBALL still going on.Read in the paper greenback has a new transfer a big center 6'8 they say he needs some work but thats a big kid:also heard their moving the big jr, Titlow to gaurd/post,after watching the kid play last year he can shoot very well and played tough as a post should be a game breaker at guard the way he jumps,with the buchannon kid back and sabo(who by the way is an outstanding football player for his first year ever),throw the bear in the mix (squats almost 600 pounds)the denton kid,and tell me if im wrong, but also heard had two more transfers from another county school, a frosh,and another jr,heard the freshman is a real good guard,we should have a deep bench,how do you all see it playing out: any opinions, still have to knock the district and region champs off to have a shot(gca).lets hear it!

you mean they were smoking, because it took you guys 2 quarters to get the fire going,but you did get it going at least enough to win, i agree about the smoke and the plane little to much for me. and yes they should at least gave room to walk the fence,no arguements here,but you still had a way in and out that was paved and clean,and could go to the restroom when needed,we all know teams like ours have a good follwing of the elderly,they cannot move like young folk and when you see them with muddy knees and butts,thats alittle much

mistakes are just that,mistakes my understanding sir is that this young man has done this numerous times on the football field,these are not mistakes,against greenback in basketball last year he took a swing a one of our boys and got a technical,you guys need this young man to reach all of your goals, football or basketball,the coaches need to sit him down and and teach him what it means to be a team player,if not he needs to watch from the bleechers,and yes from all the billboards in Karns about Grace,you all should be setting the example just like all christians= christ like.and to your wierd post,we at greenback and the oher area schools would love for our kids to be a living picture of jesus, bt they are teenagers,but you will not see one of our boys be so disrespectful to fans at football games.this has to be very emarrassing.this lady is not trying to be mother T,shes trying to be the mother of two boys watching what was supposed to be a high school football game between a CHRISTIAN school and a public school.you all say privates are better because it keeps kids away from the worldly kids----------i dont think so. we as parents have to teach that you cant hide them from it..

there is a difference between home field advantage, which means provide as much room is needed for your home field fans, the differnce being they didnt even provide a way out or in that was clean or safe.we had home field against ohs,and we wanted as many local fans as possible yes,but the visitors side was safe and well accesible,you all still had plenty of room you are the first to complain.you all have great fans always fun having you down..

thanks pujo, we have alot of respect for hhs ,this stuff with grace just keeps going on every time there is a game,they call us bashers but you are supposed to be a christian school,but your fans and some of the players just leave a bad taste in peoples mouths,sounds like this kid doesnt need to be playing sports,is this the way you would want to be represented.and yes we will need everyone to compete with OHS.my understanding is we have a good chance of getting them back,and if that kid is a jr wil he not have to serve his suspension next season?and yes he went after our boys on purpose...

lets see, fact after the first series of fourth quarter all subs were in both sides of the ball,go watch the tape quit trying to make it look better than it did for you all, you gave a good effort,you just dont have a very good football team way overrated, and yes you will see us on the court after our football season is over. hey you can get a head start.

dear matbak, if you where there you would know... ha.ha, just joking.WE got hit pretty hard, #63 starting guard and mlb,#28 starting olb and wide reciever.dont know much about grace f-ball but #5 needs some anger management to learn how to lose with a little dignaty,sounds funny after the way some of our boys acted against OHS,except we didnt attak the other kids,and the tssaa needs to take a look at these venues and see if their worthy of hosting a playoff game.The visitors side was not acsessible for the mud,no seating just portable three row bleechers could not get to the concession stands during the game had to wait till half time because you had to walk across the field ladies and children were falling all in the mud.one of the most terrible venues ever been to,should not be able to hold playoff games unless you can provide a safe environment.tssaa said they will review tape to see if these two players from gb can play next week since the grace kid started the brawl,lookedlike they were just protecting them selves,good thing they are reclassifieing next year grace will be in our district wont be able to eat anymore muffins,57 was a good ball player,amos good back for his size,referrees really like the rams tried to keep them in the game but they are just not a quality team they would be a 5th seed in our region harriman would have beaten them,cant believe how bad that region had to be this year for them to go 9-1.the worst 9-1 team weve ever seen.almost unbelievable.......

Ibb, you are right my statement was a little lop sided, you can tell those boys work very hard,they accomplished what alot of us would like to accomplish,it was meant different than posted my apologies to the gca athletes.

listen: amos is a great kid he should have the opportunity to play his final year, would not ever push a post at a kid he has done what he is supposed to every season ,suit up and bring it,and he does that, all those kids do so dont turn it on them,i am just tired of hearing about all the kids that just magically appear at grace every year,if he wants to play bad enough he can, he just has to move like every other kid. the circumstances are terrible but what do you do ,this was no way aimed at the kids.

did you all not have enough pull in Nashville,to get the kids from KCS to play with you all this year,News sentinel reported you all were denied a basketball co-op with KCS, its a shame amos will not get to finish his career at KCS,good kid and good baller.good luck amos,tough luck GCA. always looking for a way to get better without hard work.dream teams are just that dreams.......

i agree it should be debated somewhere else,it seems like every time there is a grace topic it goes this way though.
