Do they have all of their players healthy right now?

TSSAA says you can not practice until the day after school ends, so how did a practice happen on Monday?

Phargis- I am talking about elgibility from TSSAA. The website says "In order for a transfer student with an athletic record to be eligible at another school there must be a bona fide change of residence by the athlete's parents." It doesnt talk about special situations like this though. With or without her they are going to be tough.

Will the new coach's daughter be elgible to play this coming season? She playeed on the varsity team at Davidson last year..

However, the outstanding people of this district and the two teams involved have chosen to take the high road and not take this unfortunate situation and make it worse by telling their side of the story or what they heard. I respect your knowledge and enthusiam for high school girls basketball, but it would be appreciated if you would not try to fuel the flame, intentionally or not intentionally. Did anybody get to see this game. Would love to hear how this one went. If they hit 14 3's, how many did they put up? Looks like an exciting game on paper.

A lot of close games this week in the district. The second half should be interesting.

Just checked the scores on the Tennessean page to see if anyone played and noticed that CPA and Lipscomb did play their game. According to the paper, CPA's Meredith Roman hit a shot with 3 seconds left to win the game 39-37.

It is about time to give East Lit some credit. Just take a look at how many players score in the box score. They are playing everyone that has a jersey and are playing at a high level. This team looks good, but the future looks even better.

It is unfortunate that the players mentioned above were not recognized by their coaches. When coach Ellis took over the program she asked for all the stats and scorebooks from the previous seasons, but was told that they could not be found. East is hosting a tournament today (Tuesday) and tomorrow(Wednesday) and Coach Ellis will be there all day. Please bring your records by so those girls can be recognized for their accomplishments.

Kelli Cowan became the first girl in East Literature's history to score 1,000 points in their victory over CPA tonight. Kelli is an oustanding young lady who succeeds in all aspects of life. Congratulations Kelli!
