Dos anyone have any information on the game? I am wondering how the jackets responded after two tough losses.

cheatam co. will be in for a rude awakening when they play Harpeth. I dont think they realize how tough Region 5-2A is. They have played Richland the weakest team in the region, so the rest of the way will be tough. Every team pllays smash-mouth football and you will have to be tough to win in this region.

Yes they came in an beat us on our field, we overlooked them. But they also were helped by the monsoon that hit that night and the 50 mph winds. These werent normal football conditions. It was like the celina watertown game last year but even worse. I am not making an excuse but when you play in that type of weather CPA could beat Riverdale. I know Fairview isnt a power house but i am not the only one that thinks watertown looks like a middle school team.

It seems the larger schools in Tennessee charge to park. I played t a 2A school and for the two years I played I never heard of anyone charging someone to park. Yes, Clarksville schools are struggling for money but most of the programs that do charge our financially sound. I know Riverdale has plenty of money to fund their program, same goes for Hendersonville, and Beech. Now I believe that the smaller schools should charge for parking but it is hard to run a successful football program without any money.

The only way Mcewen will stay with Ezell is if Ezell underestimates them. As long as Ezell executes and doesnt have too ay turnovers they will easily win this game. Ezell is too athletic for Mcewen. Mcewen will wear down come halftime, i have played them before and I have seen this happen to them both times.

amen to that, fairview owns huntingdon!!! i bet that will tick some people off. easy eay to stop huntingdon make there running backs run through the tackles they are soft. primetime and showtime can't take a pounding, huntingdon is soft and wont get out of the first round this year. milan will whoop huntingdon twice this year. i saw milan play westview and they are the real deal, huntingdon can't hang. go bulldogs!!!

trash talking fairview fans? where do you get that idea? people around here get so mad if you just ask what do you think about the game. seems to me tha you are a trashtalking hillwood fan. i am not promising anything but i know fairview will come up with a great game plan to match up with hillwood's speed. i am not oing to promise a victory. the reason fairview wante to schedule this game is probably because in the region we play in the playoffs about every tema has grea team speed just like hillwood. so i know this game will do some good for fairview. i reall dont know what hillwood will get out of it.

Fairview will make the playoffs this year. Something this team has that the past two playoff teams didnt have is a threat in the passing game. senior dusty england has shown great improvement in the passing game. Also Fairview has a new reciever that had to sit out last year and he is a force. Plus Fairview has its best line in three years. So whoever said they are going to be down hasnt seem the same team as me. Just because they lost the state'sleading rusher doesnt mean they lost their entire team.

watch out this year for number 5 zach walker from fairview, this kid is 5'5 and 165 lbs. of solid muscle. he's quick and also can block. he is so good because he is so short and can get lower than most people. so just watch out for him.

stangfan i know the history of the playoffs, i also know the last two years, a 3 and 4 seed has put huntingdon out. as far as the reast of the region goes the only team that has dominated region 5 has been mckenzie but like i said this year that will not happen. i am talking about the future not the past. region 5 will win three out of the four playoff games, bank on it. bell still hasnt impressed me maybe it was because they only have a handful of plays they run with them. i would take cody cook over him and day, because cook nevers stops churning he makes you earn it when you tackle him. i am not bashing the region all i am saying it is all about to change.

ok there chance, i did play last year and i actually played mckenzie in the playoffs. i played for fairview and the punt play i taked about happened in that game. i give mckenzie credit they never get up but last year they got lucky. cody cook is overrated. so is bell from huntingdon, what was his yard per carry against fairview, not very good. i will take any back from region 5-2a before any in region 6. so chance, i know my football, i probably have forgotten more than you will ever know so dont come on here and try to diss me. region 6 will only win one playoff game this year and that is a big if because huntingdon has a problem winning the big game.

two years ago mckenzie was the real deal. man that was a team. that is when they suprised people. now last year what i call lucky is them beating waverly after waverly got cocky and let down. the against fairview, fairview turnover the ball when on a punt by mckenzie hit off one of fairvie's players head. if that wouldnt have happen fairview would have ran out the clock and the game would of been over. i constitute that being lucky. take nothing away from coach comer, he is one of the most underrated coaches in the state. but mckenzie doesnt have what it takes this year.

Last week Fairview easily handled hickman co. in a 27-13 win. Fairview's running attack is still as strong as last years even with the loss of the state's leading rusher. The o-line is a force this year and will be hard be stop. So with all that said how will the jackets fair against westmoreland? does anyone have any info on this team? overrated, over hyped, and any other adjectice that fits that mold. trinity should have never been rannked in the top 25. i believe the hype behind brohm is too much also. of course you are going to put up big numbers when you throw the ball 50-60 times a game. the difference is this year he doesnt have the talented recievers he had last year. i believe brohm is way overrated and so is the rest of that team.

Last night thet jackest proved that there is life after aaron cothran by putting up a great showing aginst visiting 4A rival Hickman Co. Bobby Martin, cothran's replacement, ran the ball very well and has seemed to solved his fumbling woes. Last night he had a 90 plus yard tochdown run to go with two other touchdowns. Dusty England also ran in a score andf the new freshman kicker kicked a 30 yard field goal. Fairview's defense looked solid in the first half as they very seldom gave up yards to a very strong hickman team. The only negative on this game was when Big Joe Hudgins had to be taking off the field in an ambulance. We all hope he is ok. Fairview has Westmoreland next week and I think they will continue their winning ways.

This week hickman co. comes up to fairview to play the mighty jackets. the last two years the jackets have beaten the bulldogs and last year it go ugly in a 26-3 win in which rewis called off the dogs. the year before was a great OT game in which fairview proved it could win. Fairview's line will be too much to handle for hickman co. with big joe hudgins, charlie hilgerson, and shane king knocking heads i believe there is no way for hickman co. to win except if martin doesnt hold on to the ball and england doesnt make errant throws. Now is it me or was the parkng spaces designated for players. Every MBA game i have been to this is where the players park. I wasnt able to make it to the game but no home player should have to give up its spaces to the opposing team. having those spots for the players is a reward for their hard a work and dedication on the field. now if they asked the trinity people to move and they didnt, i would have to say that is disrespectful.

Well here we go again, the battle of HWY 100. Now the last two years the mighty jackets have taken down the 4a hickman co. squad. I dont see anything changing this year. even though the Jackets lost alot of seniors they still have a monster line that Hickman can't handle. i believe the jackets will win this game by two touchdowns, it will be a hard hitting game as it has been the las two years. but with fairview playing at home, they will be victorous.
