  1. I couldn't attend the game--What was the final score?
  2. hahahaha!!!! Centennial will not come close to beating FHS again, especially after losing Brown and Williams. Carter, Crawford, Jensen and Scales can't handle the pressure . . . just like Friday night. And, if FHS had hit anything in the first half, Centennial would have never been in the game. Go Rebels!
  3. WAY TO GO REBELS!!! Great 4th quarter comeback last night . . . Congratulations to the players and Coach J.
  4. With Kelly, their district record is 6W-8L. Not too good of a record for an MVP's team!
  5. Great comment and I totally agree! But I would probably have to give MVP to (1) Tiechman or (2) Carden. They are great TEAM players, and their teams are at the top. Kelly has taken his team straight to the bottom of the district. . .
  6. Interesting. . . I didn't get to see the Ravenwood/Father Ryan game, but Father Ryan does have great talent in their 6'10" center, Brendan Connelly. Brentwood still looks good, and Centennial, again, has WEAK GUARDS! They will struggle this season unless Chaz Scales can do something when he returns.
  7. Travis Williams. . . and I heard Mixer has/is moving out of the district.
  8. Very interesting comments so far! Franklin definitely stays on top this season with everyone returning and Haddix improving quite a bit. I haven't seen Brentwood or Overton this summer, so I don't know if CHS will be No. 2, 3, or 4, but should be pretty tough with the Kelly/Williams duo. Mixer is not returning to CHS. Hillsboro is still pretty decent even after losing their best players, and looks to me like Indy is on top of Ravenwood. Just my observations. . .
  9. Has anyone seen any of these teams playing at camps over the last few weeks?
  10. Maybe you should have been in charge tonight! Not trying to get on your Cougars, but we all knew how this game would end--your guards would not get the job done. . . so, why are you guys now playing a three-guard lineup?? (You seem to know all.) And, I agree with everyone else--Michael Young was awesome!
  11. AND WHERE WAS HE TONIGHT??!!!!!! I guess the Rebels' defense was too much for McLemore and the rest of the CHS guards. AND WHY DID CHS PLAY THE SAME 5 GUYS ALMOST THE ENTIRE GAME WHEN IT WASN'T WORKING FOR THEM?? (Help me out with this one CHS 2007.) WAY TO GO REBELS!!!
  12. He should be as much as he shoots the ball. . . I would like to know what his shooting percentage is. But, I was referring to the last matchup when turnovers killed you guys. Any other thoughts??
  13. Good luck to your Cougars, but I'm sticking with the Rebels. . . your little guards won't be able to get the job done. . . just like last time!
  14. I agree, but should be a good game. My prediction is the Rebels keep the streak alive.
  15. Congratulation Rebels and Cougars! Can't wait for the matchup next Friday night!
  16. That's a good one! REBELS ALL THE WAY WITH COAH JAY!!!
  17. I heard Centennial played very sloppy ball. . Good luck to CHS in the upcoming district games playing like that! And, by the way, great coaching there. . . HA HA HA HA!!!!!!
  18. CHS is a two-man team because that is the way Coach Kelly runs his offense. All five starters are talented and can shoot the ball.. If they are ever included in his "plays", CHS will beat the better teams.
  19. You were just about right.. Centennial lost by 7.. way too many turnovers, missed shots, and poor substitutions!
