Hello all. another season is up on us as we will travel to Eastridge this coming weekend for a play day. The season is looking good so far, We have one girl hurt with a broke hand and she will be out untill some time in April. We pickup two other girls that can pitch to help out with pitching duties. Two starters and one back up..We are going to practice as much as we can this week to get us ready for our first game Saturday..And our opening day at home is against Meigs Co. on March 10.....Warriors softball

I have to agree with you bluefan23...But we do have two other pitchers and Kayla will be starting at 3rd base for the Warriors and sharing the pitching role as well. I think we will be geting some of our AAU Basketball player back too. Next year class will help us on defense as well as offense. We will no more as soon as basketball season is over....Warriors

I watched her play basketball at Pikeville last friday and she was hitting the three pointers...and I know she can play softball. I wish her the best of luck too.... and my daughter will have to pitch to her in softball and I will be calling the pitches........Redhotz ,Bledsoe Co softball

My daughters love them, as a pitcher she get better grip with metal cleats, and most girls at this leval slide head first. When she was 14 she broke her foot sliding into 2nd base and she had on plastic cleats......the only way to stop this is to outlaw sliding lol

I hate to hear that but she is a good softball player and if she puts her heart in to softball I think she will get signed...

I can't speak for any thing but softball but in our travel ball I can be ask where we are from and I tell them Bledsoe and most will say" The two best thing they got is Little Blue football and the Pig and Catch" If little blue football is that great what happens to the kids when they get in high school? I'm sure the little blue is coached by volunteers??? Is it politics or Admin. who knows, I just wish we would all pull together and it would make a chang for the better in all sports.... I pull for each and ever sport in the county and stand behind all the coaches paid or volunteers!!!!

purplegrad if only you knew how some of our volunteers coaches are treated. i for one know first hand because i'm one of these people, i have put in hundred of hours working to make our team better and all it takes is one or two parents to run in to the Principle and your off the field because they want some one eles out there. so tell me why i would spend all this money and time in the off season just to be stabed in the back.

Sorry to say but Bledsoe had a bad game Friday Night, but that is in the past, pick up your heads and work hard this week and get ready for next Fridays game . I saw lots of good plays from the warriors all night long . There's a lot of folks that have put out a lot of time to help with this program and my hats off to you. Go Warriors

I saw a lot of good hits from the warriors player, I was really impressed with number 33 and i'm told he's only a freshman. he did some hard hitting.

The Lady Warriors lost a big game yesterday at home against Grundy Co.Kayla Reagan hit a solo home run to center to start off the 1st inning. Grundy got 6 runs in the 3rd, 2-4th, 2-5th, 4-6th and the Warriors crossed the plate 1-1st, 6- 4th, 2-7th to lose 14-9. Shelby Ellis #30 3-1 1 double 1 HBP 2 runs scored, Candance Holloway 4-2 1 double, Kayla Reagan #21 4-3 1 home run 1 double 2 RBI 2 runs scoed, Tiffany Holloway #22 4-2 1 double 3 RBI 1 run scored

Well it will all shake out in the next two weeks. We as coaches have done everthing we could to get the girls ready. We have played 4 tournaments this year and yes we have taken our lickins (GPS 20 Bledsoe 0) but later on in the season we got better ( we beat one of the top teams in the state Seigle 5-3 in Cookeville). The first of the season Bledsoe was picked to finish 6th in the Districts, We set our goal for 5th or better!!!!
