Does any one agree that this is a mean and ugly post?? Get a clue and do not judge people. OS did get beat and one person can not carry the team and the coaches cannot go play for their girls. So why down the Coaches like that? Yes it was on a Wed night but the Lord knows all hearts including your own persons! Wartburg showed up to play ball and OS did not so they got beat, so now BOTH teams from this area is BORO BOUND!! That is great for this part of the State and we all should be happy for the ones that are involved. Hopefully the Lord will smile on BOTH teams and let them be healthy and learn good sportmanship from their respected elders!!(Meaning the Coaches that was chosen for them, becuase they are with them thru thick and thin!!) I hope that if any of the girls are reading this that they will send a word of thanks that the Lord has smiled on both teams and is sending them in a direction in their life that they will ALWAYS remember and hopefully will learn that fussing on CoachT about everything is just not what he had in mind for them!! Experiencing a trip to the State Tourney for Wartburg is going to boggle their minds amnd GOOD LUCK to them Dogs, we want you to do well because you are representing the East Tennessee Area as well as Oliver Springs. They weren't ready to play and if anyone in the stands didn't notice it, they had to be blind. How many times has any one saw OS girls pulling on their shorts and laboring for breath? Not many thats for sure because they are a second half team. Sickness and mental preparation took its toll on them thats for sure. Wartburg played tough, they came ready to win! Now they will host Sectionals in their own gym and good luck to them, I want any one from this area to do well. Maybe the Dogs and Cats will meet again in the Boro!! No i just find it odd that Chistopher is the only flight player in A!

oh. are you implying that any of them would rather have the individual than the team? if you are that is pretty low because i know for a fact abby andrews would have done anything she could to have kept her team from gettin put out. im sure christopher would rather have the gold too.

The only thing that really gives me insight to these players are the fact that christopher is the only one who can make the elite flight team. The rest made it at least one year then was done because they got cut. just an opinion.

Glad to know that you don't bash one or the other. You are correct, because it is definately an honor for all 3 no matter who comes out on top. I think all 3 should be commended for their hard work and effort. That goes for the others that were nominated in the other divisions also!

This seems like a fantastic post!! I think you have got the jist of Miss Basketball. These were really close to my picks. I have seen them play AAU and you are right on target!!

Thanks for the info, I think that the stats on these girls is important, since this is the whole reason for Miss Basketball. I think from reading the papers that Kayla's average is 21.5 . Maybe 4 steals and 4 rebounds. Steals around 3. looks to be all around. What about Abby? Any body know these? The other post is more like a popularity thing and I like to know the details!!
