First of all, let me start by saying that I am a Warren County fan. I was born, raised, and graduated from Warren County and I do not like seeing my alma mater be the doormat of 7AAA. I still frequent Warren County and have been told by some very reliable sources that if a coaching change were done that there would be many talented young ladies lined up to play basketball for the Lady Pioneer program. Many, many girls, with would rather not play than to have to play into the current coach's politics. AND THAT IS SAD. McMinnville is a VERY political town and if they can ever get past that, and accept change, I think some good things could happen to the program. I am not saying that Ann is not a good coach, but I feel like she has worn out her welcome at the high school level. I was able to watch the girls several, several times this year and I must say that they never gave up, even when they were down BIG. To me, that shows a lot of heart, character, and just plain love of the game. It is sad, however, that there are many teams out there that have ten times the talent and not as much heart that get to experience success. I would love to see Warren County back on the map. Maybe a coaching change will help, maybe not, but at this point I would like to see anything done to get the program back on the right track. KEEP YOUR HEADS UP LADY PIONEERS!!
