  1. I think it should be noted that he did not get put "out"...he resigned. As far as I know, it was not a forced resignation either. Good luck in the coaching search.
  2. Blue Devil Alumni, Jim McDowell has been named head coach.
  3. Myra Sloan has been named principal
  4. FYI-Coach Johnson is pursuing her doctorate degree in MISSISSIPPI!!! She will not go that far away from her family.
  5. Marshall County is open as of today...interesting..
  6. The AD has NO background in any sport other than cross country. She did not even know that UT was in the final four a few weeks ago! The assistants are handling everything right now, but in this poster's opinion, something needs to be done quickly so that the girls' have someone to hold them accountable. The assistants can only do so much. The assistants are doing a GREAT job so far considering the situation. At this point, the girls probably feel a little bit lost and like no one is doing anything for them. Do you blame them?
  7. Jasmine Brooks and Ebony Marshall from Lebanon are very good senior guards. Also, Morgan Faulkner from Siegel..correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think she has signed either.
  8. Icelyn Elie scored 25 points in the second half alone. She had 0 points in the first half as she sat most of the half. Both teams were plagued by foul trouble.
  9. Had the pleasure of watching the Lebanon-Riverdale game on Monday. Let me say that this was one of the best games. I think that everyone would agree that the fans got their money's worth. Congrats to the Blue Devilettes on such a successful season. Congrats to Riverdale as well. Both teams played their hearts out. I hope that some colleges are finally starting to take notice of Lebanon's senior guards. Neither Jasmin Brooks or Ebony Marshall have signed, but both can be dangerous. They still need work, but both have so much potential. I also believe that Icelyn Elie is one of the most versitle players that I have seen. Congrats again to Lebanon varsity and freshmen devilettes. Good luck to both Lebanon and Riverdale as they enter the region tourney.
  10. First of all, let me start by saying that I am a Warren County fan. I was born, raised, and graduated from Warren County and I do not like seeing my alma mater be the doormat of 7AAA. I still frequent Warren County and have been told by some very reliable sources that if a coaching change were done that there would be many talented young ladies lined up to play basketball for the Lady Pioneer program. Many, many girls, with would rather not play than to have to play into the current coach's politics. AND THAT IS SAD. McMinnville is a VERY political town and if they can ever get past that, and accept change, I think some good things could happen to the program. I am not saying that Ann is not a good coach, but I feel like she has worn out her welcome at the high school level. I was able to watch the girls several, several times this year and I must say that they never gave up, even when they were down BIG. To me, that shows a lot of heart, character, and just plain love of the game. It is sad, however, that there are many teams out there that have ten times the talent and not as much heart that get to experience success. I would love to see Warren County back on the map. Maybe a coaching change will help, maybe not, but at this point I would like to see anything done to get the program back on the right track. KEEP YOUR HEADS UP LADY PIONEERS!!
