I agree Central beat Polk. But, Mr. Roberts hurt phillips with tight strike zone. The main problem I have with him calling balls and strikes is, Polk beat Meigs 4 times, dad in stands, whats up with that he didn't even show up to watch meigs sat. or mon. Also, Tad is the same guy that met Polk football team 2 yrs. ago coming off field with both hands high in air and giving them the bird! Now is this a guy Polk would need behind the plate in a District Championship game! I don't think so, but if I'm coach trip, I would of took care of this before it ever happened. The point was a full ride on an athletic scholarship, I said that wasn't so. Most schools juco and D- 1 depend on grades, that my friend was my POINT!!

The kid can't catch a cold at third, watched him early in the season, credit goes to hart for comin up with the "arm protection" theory!! Why would the POLK coach make up that the field was too WET!As I've said before its phillips or bean pick you're poison!!! The field was in unplayable condition, how do I know? Cause I was there!! If the Boyd coach can waste the $3.50 a gallon of gas to drive to Polk to see if the field was playable or not you would think he could of got his team there on time for Thurs. game. 5:00 game time they arrived at 4:30, how do I know this again, I was there!! As for the throwing incident, Boyd coach went to mound, kid gets hit in the head, go figure!! Now thats CLASSLESS!!! Polk brought in a freshman Thurs., yea he hit the kid, he's wild as a buck but can get the job done!! The rumor you heard is incorrect!! Polk had Bean ready to go, the field was lined off and ready for play until the rain arrived @ 2:30, the field was to wet, and if the Boyd coach can afford to drive to Benton, not believing the home coach, more power to him, gas is 3.30 a gallon, only wish I could afford to waste gas that way. Show up Thursday coach we'll go from there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Meigs has been playing well????? Did I see that the Boyd Bucs beat them in 5 10 - 0, Central Sweeps easily!!

Now back to the main topic or have we forgotton. The issue is with the way The Boyd Coach thinks he can decide when to play or not. The home team has the call whether field is playable or not. I really don't see why it would matter what day, its either phillips or bean pick your poison coach.
