I checked out the scoreboard, looks like Dickson has played a pretty tough schedule this year, beating Rossview 3 times, NE twice and alot of those East Tennessee teams. I was not real impressed until I started reading about them and who they have played. Their pitcher is holding teams to very few runs and they have several bats. They also beat Gibbs this year in the Chattanooga Tournament. Dont count them out yet, they cant beat Beech but they have alot left in the tank.

So are you saying that beating Rossview 3 times and Northeast twice is nothing, well thats good to know. When they get to us after they beat WC it should be easy street!

I think this should be announced in the next day or so if the rain holds off enough to get the games in.

Biggest surprise for Dickson is the pitching. They lost one of their starting pitchers to graduation last year and the other one quit. So how are they staying in these games without stellar pitching. Their defense must be incredible.

Has AAA softball surprised anyone in district play offs? Any stand out teams that were unexpected? What about any players that are peaking?

Elrod pitch for Rossview? Who pitched for Dickson? Who hit a homern?

Will anyone get any games in on Monday?

They are in it to have fun. Not many of their players have any intentions of carrying softball past high school. So for now it gives them something to do and keeps them out of trouble. They are having a good time just with the fellowship.

Can Brentwood beat Ravenwood? Can Brentwoods Junior pitcher beat out Ravenwoods seasoned senior?

Where will all the AAA district games going to be held?

I thought Edwards was the pitcher. I was not saying one player could do it alone. But we all know if you put 8 great players on the field and have no pitching the end result will not be favorable. I was more interested in how strong the replacement pitcher for Kilgore is.

Dickson has a new pitcher this year, that has helped them through some of their games so far this year. But I cant help but think if Dickson had not lost Kilgore they would be a much stronger team. Do you think Dickson's pitcher is good enough to get them through the districts playoffs and into Regionals and State?

We were at a Middle School tournament. Did any players stand out at this tournament? I am not sure how many big name teams ended up playing, if any.

I have to conclude this must have been some type of joke or something. Maybe just trying to get us to talking about BGA! Or maybe even the Woodall Kid, isn't she also the coaches daughter. Maybe the caoch made the initial post

Brentwood may have lost some players, but I believe this is the Bruins best opportunity to make it back on the map since Julie Harmon was on the mound. A few players have stepped up in the areas that were expected and several has exceeded expectations and they are also very suprised by a few players. Alot, can happen over a summer, and with the improvement I feel like we will be in the Boro in May. I hope my predictions hold true.

I have seen a few articles and spoke with my normal "talkers". I hear Dickson's number one Junior pitcher did not play this year. I know they have a few pitchers waiting in the wings that have been very successful in travelball for two different travelball teams over the past years. My real question is what happened to them, everybody I talk to from that team is tickled with the coaches, the players and the season. Not sure what happened but I know alot of schools that need to drink from that fountain. Just wanted to say it was good to hear "positive" from a program that had alot of internal termal last year. I look forward to seeing them compete.
