  1. what that person was reffering to is how well madison does every year(lost at sectionals the past 2 season) and previous season lost in regional semi's they have only had a program for the 5 years that the school has been open, so its relatively unheard of. But on the other hand we have had one sports team besides this years soccer team make it to state(for cjfm's info /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />) our girls soccer team made it to state 3 years ago and so did our girls basketball team... just a fun fact
  2. inappropriate, where are your from? any more info on boyd?
  3. So I looked into Boyd's schedule and was quite impressed with their season. They seem to be quite a strong team. I have honestly not heard too much about them, so maybe those who have played against them can tell me what we will see or what to be expecting? Good luck to all those at spring fling! /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  4. Madison 6-0 Haywood Madison Region Champs
  5. Madison lost 3-0 to ECS They were tied 0-0 at half and a some bad refs gifted an offside goal. Then a superb volley from #12. I give him credit, but the ref then sent off a player for asking to speak with him after the game when all he said was "sir can i speak with you after the game" word for word haha. And with 10 men madison held out for 10 minutes before ECS put in another in the last 3 minutes of the game
  6. I just found out today collierville was in it. Hands down they will win it!
  7. To be honest, after playing USJ i think they are the top team in the tournament. But with several good attacking players i think ECS have just as much of a chance of winning it. Its one of the two. USJ are pretty solid for a west tn team, but definately not the strongest. I have not seen ECS but i expect them to be one of the best. ECS could beat USJ if they hit them quickly on the counter and beat them on the wide midfield /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> they are a bit slower on the outsides
  8. 2-0 madison after a half /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" /> i remember madison's keeper making only 1 save while madison dominated the chances. I am sure these two will be playing again, maybe better conditions next time
  9. I would probably say kurt kroeger. The kid is born with natural athleticism, and always gets the ball to midfielder's foot. He gets the job done, and no goofing around. He probably has my pick, but i would have to say soccer in west tn outside of memphis is nothing compared to memphis. Just my opinion
  10. I am 99% sure the game will be cancelled because of rain
  11. Madison is gonna have quite a week with no keeper. He picked up a concussion last week and might not be able to play.
  12. Well, what i dont understand is how their highschool has 1 field i know of at the high school, but instead they decide to play at their elementary... sounds sketchy to me when we passed their field and nothing was going on there...

    Fields

I am a player from madison academic, and being a team in the west there are a lot of teams with awful fields to say the least. I can understand an awful field like lumps and dirt all over, but what i cannot get is how we allow teams to use U10 fields. Madison played Crockett County this week, and Crockett are not a strong team, but madison had to go away to them. Crockett's field was purposefully picked to frustrate us. Their coach picked the elementary field knowing they could not play on a regular size field against madison. The field was so small the keepers could punt it from one goal to the other. I stepped off the sidelines... From the sideline to the near post was 13 yards. Basically, because crockett was allowed to play on this field they had a chance against madison when they never would have on a regular field. I honestly think if you cant play on a regular size field you should not be allowed to play. Needless to say the refs didnt show up 45 minutes after the game was supposed to start, and their players were trying to start a fight after the game. This is absurd.
  14. Madison beat northside 1-0. I would say a fair game with equal chances, just madison had a couple better ones. Also, should have been 2-0. 5 minutes remaining in the game and madison midfielder struck a left footed volley from 30 yards and it hit the cross bar, then the net and bounced out and the referee was the only one who did not see it hit the net /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> even northside players were admitting it was a goal!! Good game though!
  15. Madison beat chester county 7-2... 5 goals in first 16 minutes and they cut both halves by 13 minutes...
  16. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> i am not even gonna continue arguing about strength of schedules, bottom line of what this discussion is... madison wins 3-1
  17. It also means that we dont play many strong teams throughout the season. You guys have played no one either, and your season schedule is even weaker than ours
  18. Lol if you were criticizing madison's schedule that is funny. We play the teams that we have to and then try to get games outside of that. But being a public school who gets no funds and pay for their own stuff and have no buses or anything to travel, you can't criticize who they schedule. Otherwise we could go to memphis, and nashville, and knoxville. Problem is.... THERE IS NO MONEY IN THE SCHOOL SYSTEM TO DO THAT! We play the same teams you do and you say we have a weak schedule I think that is pretty funny /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> We have usj, northside, and ecs. We are playing the best teams we can outside of our district to get ready for the end of the season. So there is no way you can say our schedule is weaker than yours!
  19. This game is a couple weeks away. I think the teams have to focus more on the games ahead of them than this one. Madison takes the district again this year winning 3-1 /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  20. I dunno. I have played against him many times. He has all the skill in the world, but all it takes is one "bruiser" or just a very competitive athlete to frustrate him and take him off of his game. Lots of skill, but I dont think it takes a whole lot to keep him quiet.
  21. Madison played southside tonight and they played their bench the majority of the game. Needless to say, it was not pretty. Madison's starters played the first 15 minutes of each half in which no goals were conceded, but 4 were scored. The scoreline of this game is not a true reflection of Madison
  22. Madison thumped Liberty 4-1 scoring all 5 goals in the game!! /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> Liberty were lucky to get out without being beat by 10 or more
