I don't think East Lit will be making a team next year. East Lit is a very small school, and only a select few even wanted to play softball. The two magnet schools can combine to produce a powerful team. Anyways, I'm sure the girls from East Lit wouldn't change a thing. They love playin for Hume Fogg. Sally DYE (lol) transferred from St Cecilia and played for the Eagles alongside with Megan Rhodes and our own Lauren Manna. She had to sit out a year. But yes, HFA does have some good players coming in.

I agree FPFanatic... thanks! People--come out and support the hume fogg team because it takes a lot of hard work to play for this team. Aside from hours and hours of homework a night and stress from the school's academic life, the players dedicate hundreds of hours from fall ball to practices to summer ball to tournaments, to play for the blue knights. This is a dedicated group of girls, and I could not be more proud. Carly Hill and Sally Boyce will pitch a heck of a year next year. Go HFA...

I disagree...sorry! Middle TN is where the heat is at. There are teams, such as Greenbrier (State Champs), Lipscomb, Hume Fogg, Father Ryan, Brentwood, etc etc.. tougher districts here for sure. Soddy and Boyd are the toughest teams in the Chatt area. I respect them. Hume Fogg beat Boyd, and had a very close game with Soddy..so basically i think middle TN dominates softball for sure. Goodpasture is the best team out there. I give Danielle a lot of points for pitching with a broken leg. Most girls would just cry and sit out the games. Good job girl...

what about hume fogg...the teams losing 4 seniors, including me.. do you guys think they have a good chance? they have some good players coming onto the team next year, and sally boyce will be eligible to play finally. We will see=)

i luv everyone in my district...8AA...because we are the bomb.. even tho i played for hume fogg, i wish Greenbrier and Lipscomb the BEST..yall must get first and second...bring some recognition to 8AA, thanks you guys!! Wish i could be there today to watch the game, but I'll hear all about it from Ahop--sorry i couldnt go to Memphis with ya!

yes, go lipscomb..hume fogg will be rooting for you guys!! and yeah...the lipscomb fans had been hangin up K's , even against US last year...soooo yall need to do your own thing, east ridge, because yall sure didnt do that when we beat you guys last year in substate! congrats to megan rhodes and the lipscomb girls. all the way girls!

I wanted to make a post where everyone could read it. My name is Allison Eoff and I played 3rd base for Hume Fogg. Playin softball for Coach Conditt and Coach Curtis alongside with the rest of the team was the BEST experience of my life. We didn't fufill our goals to make it to state, but dang..it sure was a good year. Remember what I told everyone last night...all those tears don't forget how much I luv you girls. And I promise, the seniors and I, were very proud to play with you girls. Not only have you made me proud, but you made our school proud. You carried our school into another winning season. Who knows what happens next year? Congrats to Macon County on their win--yall had a lot of heart last night and I wish you the best. To the new seniors, Lauren and Tasha--its up to you guys to carry the team next year. I know you will do fantastic, because you two are my best friends and I love you to death. The rest of the girls...I'm going to miss you but you can bet your butts I will be watching next year. Don't slack off! Keep your heads high, because we are the best... Wasn't exactly the best ending, but hey...you still got me! Much luv to everyone and have a great summer... signing off and headin to Western KY.
