  1. Dyer County 75 Westview 67 Rex had 24, CJ 16, and big Ced had 14, and Fred had 12 or 14 lost track on his. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Three years straight district 13 AA Champs. 3. I don't think three losses should win a gold ball, but we have to deal with the system we have until the system is changed. I guess I look at it differently, if they learned something from the loss, then it was worth it. whether we win the gold ball or not, it's all in how you play the game, win or lose. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Everyteam whether undefeated or not I'm sure can find areas to improve in /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> But that's just my two cents /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Let's go Choctaws /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" />
  4. game just ended and Dyer County defeats Westview 77 - 68. district 13aa champs. Hopefully tonight was a statement saying we will respond and overcome, I think they did /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" /> Go Choctaws /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" />
  5. all I know is it was a heck of a game! It's done and over all except the fussing over spilled milk /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Lot's of hustle by both teams from my vantage point up in the nose bleed section. Go Choctaws /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" />
  6. Great game UC and congratulations Y'all earned it! /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  7. It was a great game even though Dyer county lost. we had our chances. Great game and congratulations to Fulton and good luck to you tomorrow.
  8. Just got home from work, unfortunately can't make the game, but will be listening to the radio. 32 minutes of Bball will tell us who wins. Hopefully it's a great game and of course Go Choctaws /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" /> /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  9. /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> Unless my eyes are bad and unable to see, I would have to say it's a three without question. But then again just my two cents /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  10. Terop, it was rex Pierce who hit the three as time went out. Go Choctaws /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />
  11. I agree from my spot in the stands they did body up on players all night. But free throws equal points and in this case the difference in the game. Missed shots missed points, at least in my mind, that was the reason for the curiosity on the free throw stats for the game. That's a sad fact and I hope someday these kids will get more support from their communities. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  12. I saw in the Jackson Sun DC was 12 of 16 from the free throw line just in the fourth quarter, and Justin Blake scoring the last six points for DC from the free throw line. I wonder what the totals for the game were on that stat. Does anyone have any more stats on the free throw line? /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> Go Choctaws
  13. I was at the game last night up in the nose bleed section. All I can say is great game. The points about the refs making bad calls was true, but they did that for both my Choctaws and the Worriors. I was lucky enough to be sitting next to a couple of folks who came down from lake county, and we all came to that conclusion about the refs. there wasn't any favoritism in fouls called in there eyes or mine. As it's been pointed out earlier in the thread The Choctaws were down 28 - 13 and battled back to win. Both teams played great games, the one thing I think really made the difference is free throw percentages. That is something that makes a difference in close nail biters like last nights game. Go DC Choctaws /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" /> /hungry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":hungry:" border="0" alt="hungry.gif" />
  14. I don't know who's gonna win, but at this stage of the game anyone could. To me depends on how bad the kids want to win, compared to their opposition. I'd have to say Haywood, Bolivar, Unico Co., Fulton, and Dyer County should win. Go Choctaws
