Manassas was practically playing street ball out there with our boys. Any team that can play THAT dirty in a State championship game doesn't deserve any title. The refs were horrible and didn't call half the stuff that they should have. The first half made me a little nervous, but as soon as those boys popped out at half time with 3's; I had a great feeling that we were going to come back. We always come back no matter what. I don't know what Sisco does in the locker room, but it totally puts the boys back on focus and ready to play. Good Job boys, you played hard! MVP should have been Nik Brooks or Andre Coby. They put in some shots & rebounds that won the game and they also played very well and consistant during the game. If you think UC talks a lot of smack on coacht. You should have heard the Manassas players on the court...maybe they should have been practicing, rather than shaving "StateM" in their heads. Looks like the Manassas boys are going to be shaving their heads today. haha. How about that game for ya Legend? Looking forward to the 2008 Gold Ball being in the Union City High School trophy case today. GO UC!

I have seen every game of the Union City boys since 2005 and Union City rarely plays that badly. We had an off day. We will be back & ready on Friday. We will blow you away. I think nerves got to most of our players. Good Job UC!!!!! Keepin' It going.....

Im going to go with the 34-0 Union City. If we can beat 5A teams in tournaments; we can win the 1A gold ball. Union City will play up the expectations. They will beat the team that is on the court competing with them; no matter who it is. Our boys are not scared of any team and will be ready. We have confidence; that is what most teams are missing. Go Tornadoes! Bringin' it home.

Umm??¦??¦What does it matter how many or in what year our gold balls were won? The only thing you guys need to worry about is that Union City WILL be coming home with the 2007-2008 Gold Ball. You watch. Union City will play to beat the team on the court with them at the time. We can compete with anyone and beat anyone. I think we have proved that this year. M.J. will be this years Mr. Basketball, also. He has played outstanding since his freshman year. He was a vital player in our 2005-2006 state game and has been ever since. The only reason he can??™t get his points up per game is because we had the majority of the games, during the season, won by the 3rd quarter and our freshman were scoring on them while M.J. watched. M.J. is a TEAM player as well as being a standout on his own and these are the two reasons why he WILL be Mr. Basketball. UC has the best team on the court and fans in the stands. Go UC!
