  1. Thanks for the info. Just have to wait and see then. Should be interesting.
  2. Sooooo clever! Any actual answers out there about 7 on 7's and practice/scrimmage issues?
  3. Maybe they just weren't interested in seeing the probable outcome. When are they permitted to start practicing again? Will there be 7 on 7's this year? What else do we have to look forward to?
  4. I thought the Blackman scrimmage was this Friday. Did it happen already? How did they look?
  5. Sounds like deja vu all over again. Let's hope not.
  6. 'Think' is a word that is not compatable with your posts or your blustering ego. 'I' seems to be a word you are very comfortable with. Keep on posting. It is amusing at times.
  7. You mean that doesn't work?! Couldn't they have figured that out after about the third game last year? We'll see. Old habits and 'stars' are hard to abandon. It should be interesting, regardless.
  8. Yeah, let us know when you find out. Anything that uses more than one or two players will certainly be an improvement over last years 'scheme'.
  9. I hope you are right here. The kids deserve a chance to show what they can do and contribute: as many as possible who can that is. However, we'll see if that narrow focused game plan changes with the addition of these new 'big name' coaches or the problem remains entrenched at the top. Only time on the field will display the answer here. I hope it works.
  10. I'm told it is the former Titan himself. Maybe some help here if they allow it to be thrown to more than one reciever.
  11. Lighten up already, will you? It was humor, you know, jokes, levity, to get a respose of the laughing type. And by the way, percieved truth is neither positive nor negative. It just is. It's the reader who makes the value judgement. I also hope for the best for Indy but the truth I see is far from the dreams I've read on this site.
  12. They don't need a running back do they? That was evident last year wasn't it? Now if what you are speculating about is true, they should do about just about as well as last year with their chosen few. Good luck!
  13. I really hope you are right on this for the sake of the kids. But, as you say, we'll find out.
  14. I've offended! Comprehend? Once again an opinion is shouted down! Long live the bully pulpit! Unfortunately, it doesn't do a thing to help one way or the other. Enjoy your rants and authority complex issues. By the way, isn't Indy in TN? Just an absurd, skewed, childish, ignorant, and stupid guess. lol
  15. The bandwagonners have returned! Horray! Don't try to make anything better. It's fine as it is and always will be. Run that same offense again this year. It was thrilling to see the kids get their heads handed to them, wasn't it? Great logic and fan support! Yeh! Rah! Rah! Rah!
  16. Terribly sorry. I considered the tone of your posts to imply that Idy had a more talented and harder working team this year. If you feel otherwise, I apologize. My bad. And only a Pope Pontificates Dogma. But, I digress, er ramble. Sorry. What was the task to stay on? LOL
  17. Why when an opinion isn't agreed with does it always seem to degenerate to name calling? Look, if you don't care for our "average" players, don't comment on them. Go haunt the Florida, Alabama, Texas, etc. etc. posts and leave the poor "average" TN players in peace.
  18. Point valid and well taken. I was simply alluding to the fact that the interpretation of that seasons success is now changing to reflect more of the people who contributed, not just the chosen ones who were focused on then, last year, and I'm afraid will be again this year ( Hope I'm wrong on this year, but I doubt it). Hindsight always seems to be 20/20.
  19. If it wasnt for Scott Pettigrew in 07 no region title, no state runner-up. Someone else has seen the light! Too late for last years unfortunates. I hope not too late for this years. But again, I wouldn't hold my breath. Revisionist history seldom effects change.
  20. The talent was there and available. Simply mismanaged, or not even used in leu of individual stats. It was a shamefull exibition of stubborness to prove who was in charge, I suppose. And the team paid the price. I hope Mac Brown is right and things are going to change there. But I wouldn't hold my breath. To change things would be tantamount to admitting that something was wrong last year. And we know that wasn't the case, right? Just not enough talent. Please!
  21. Successful coach? Periodization? Perhaps you have something here. Just look at last years results. Every team knew what to do to beat Indy. Despite an enormous wealth of talent to work with the offense was one dimensional, transparent, and easily defended. And it never changed. And you think they have more talent this year? We shall see. Unless I'm very wrong here and things do actually change, it's going to be a long season I'm afraid. I truly hope I'm wrong on this.
