Good point..Swan led her team as a Junior, with the help of Vincent, to an 18 game winning streak taking the District and the Region Championship...awesome pitching from these girls and awesome leadership and teamwork...expect big things from these girls this year:) GO LADY RAIDERS

I could care less what you or anyone else thinks for that matter, however i didnt mean for ppl to assume Swan should get credit for their season. All the girls have stepped up and have come together as a team to do what they need to do. Some of the best offense and especially defense ever!! i was only responding in the matter of their pitching season. There is a reason Floyd puts both girls on the field at the same time...they both are excellent pitchers and hitters and he is smart enough to know they will help their team score runs. McCormick, Keele, Davis, Downs and others have been ripping the ball and that is what takes!!

Both CC pitchers are outstanding and do a great job together in the circle as well as at the plate. The great thing is they will both be back next year!! Go Lady Raiders!!

CC freshman you are likely referring to would be the freshman pitcher Vincent who is definitly one of the best around. Solid pitching and awesome hitting!! The 2nd baseman Keele is a junior.

HA thats funny...what several ppl have said...but just bragging on the CC girls...and ya i am a Swan fan but freshman pitcher is awesome too and one heck of a hitter!

Freshman pitcher is a great pitcher but the Junior pitcher has gotten them where they are today. The freshman has really stepped up her pitching in the last few games and been able to help our lead pitcher when needed. Swan who is the junior pitcher also plays first base and is one heck of a defensive player who also comes through consistently with the bat. Both pitchers are doing extremely well and have had lots of RBI's and great hits. Best of luck to the lady raiders and congratulations on a great season!!! Next year they will most certainly be hard to beat!!

I may be wrong but i dont think a little drama can account for CC hitting off Jones and scoring runs, playing stand-up defense and just playing great softball...great job ladies from CC and drama from Tull or not, they were just not able to score runs..,.

I don't know..she is a great player but didn't have her best game last night....she was struck out twice by Junior pitcher Lady Raider Kristin Swan last night...awesome pitching and awesome hitting lady raiders!!

Absolutely no one buys that excuse for a minute...lots of witnesses that saw her intentionally put the trophy down to leave it...second place was just not acceptable...we have tons of trophies at our house from travel ball and are proud of them all...all reflect hard work and although she is an awesome coach and has done alot for MJ's program, this was still a terrible example to set for the girls...Great of the dad and 2 girls that did come back to retrieve it!! And ya i forget my kid sometimes too...so funny!!

Hand over the win???? That is too funny considering CC kept MJ from scoring in 2 tie breaker innings and beat them with a squeeze and an awesome slide into home...we have all been on this side of a call and the call was a good one!! CC was not "handed" anything. They played hard all weekend with top notch pitching and very hott hitting and defense...dont try and take away their hard work by blaming a call...i am sure you are absolutely correct about Coach Pedigo...she is an awesome coach and it is very obvious in her team but good sportsmanship and attitude goes a long way...maybe this loss is what they needed to show them that because their attitude coming into the game seemed as if they couldnt be beaten....and we all know how softball can be!!!

I was there also and the call in which you are referring to was a good call...CC Lady Raider Shelby Davis slid around the tag at home and it was a clear call....i am sure MJ is not accustomed to getting beat, especially by a "little 8AAA" but there is no excuse for leaving the trophy and acting as they did in the awards ceremony after the game...according to the players, MJ did not congratulate nor show an ounce of good sportsmanship. As for this tournament being "Fixed"...well the Coffee County Classic has always and will always be a class act..if it were fixed, and not for the TALENT of the CC Lady Raiders, then they would win this tourney more often wouldn't they??? Give me a break and teach the kids how to handle loss with class as well as you have taught them to win! I agree that it was a class move for the coach to give CC their home dugout but what happened after the game was ridiculous. Congrats again to you Lady Raiders and best of luck at district tourney!!

Great job lady raiders and lots of class shown hosting the tourney...too bad MJ couldn't show the same class...its a real shame MJ were sore losers....leaving their 2nd place trophy in the parking lot after the tourney....lots of players and fans have been hearing what great players they are but if you have no sportsmanship then you obviously have lots more to learn

Excuse me??? Don't have the talent??? Tell CC fans and players that after taking 1st in the tournament this weekend...lets see...who all did the lady raiders beat????? Rutledge, Baylor, Marion Co..oh and lets not forget Hendersonville and Mount Juliet in the Championship game!!! I will also remind you that this team has only 2 seniors and the starting pitcher is a Junior who is averaging 8 or so strike outs per game...no talent you say??? Obviously you have not been watching these girls!!!!!!

You are right, should be interesting. Great pitching all year but the bats have to stay hot and have to stop making the silly blooper errors....lots of girls on the bench who can catch fly balls

You are absolutely right JV!! I couldn't agree more. Lucky is a great man with a big heart and the girls adore him. His broadcasts are always great to listen to when i am at the game or unable to attend because of work...we are so lucky to have him in Manchester!! Please do not continue to insult our hardworking kids with your degrading remarks...could you do any better? I sincerely doubt it...some of the young players are making errors that are costing us and leaving base runners stranded time and time again is not helping our cause...this is not necessarily always the players' fault....just keep your opinions to yourself....not many listen to you anyway...i'm finished listening to you
