The key post player HPunch is talking about that was missing is Ayanga Okpokowuruk. He went on a football recruiting trip to Stanford. He was a major factor in the Temple game, but BA still would have destroyed McCallie even with him. I've got one question. How is BA not in the top 25 in the country? Honestly, they are the best team I have ever seen out of Tennessee. It seemed like they played an average game for them and still destroyed and decent McCallie team. My next question is how many of those guys are seniors? Besides Turner do they have any other key seniors? Props to BA they are an amazing basketball team. Lastly, why on earth would any player on any team being talked about on CoachT get on here and talk trash? Talk trash if you want to on the court not on the frappin message boards. Come on dkmilk.

Plavich is probably the best I've seen just as far as a pure shooter. He is very good from downtown.

I'm going to have to say Chris Johnson from McCallie. He is an outstanding football player and a decent big man in basketball. He also played lacrosse his sophmore year and ran track last year. What a beast.

It doesnt matter who they are the question is who is more attractive. The answer is definitely the cat burglar. His chins just add to his jaw-dropping, stunning looks.

Ashley Murphy probably knows more about soccer, but how can you resist Shrek's appearance. He's a very attractive man.

It's really hard to beat a team three times in a season no matter who the teams are. Thats just a proven fact in history. Didnt two seasons ago McCallie beat Baylor twice during the season and then lost in the regions or am I totally wrong about that one? Anyways thats just a hard thing to do. Baylor could make it far if they come out the victor in this game.

I know they're not as good as they should be and I think that they should fire their coach. Thats the whole point though is that they are so poorly coached that it makes them an awful team.

In response to your post oldtimeballer63 Temple is terrible and has no chance at state. They lost to McCallie twice. That's all I have to say.

McCallie has absolutely no chance at winning anything this year, including in Nashville. As far as preparing for next year though, the only really improvement they can make is firing their coach. He's the problem.

cmtack I don't think you get what I am saying. McCallie is terrible. Don't give me any of that was then this is now junk, I'm just saying CCS beat a McCallie team that is awful and when two of both schools better teams went head to head in the era of Holwerda CCS could never win so don't go getting a big head about beating them now. McCallie lost to Knox Webb, Unaka, and Grace this year for goodness sake.

Just so all you CCS people know it's no real accomplishment to beat McCallie. 10 other teams have done it. It's too bad they couldn't beat McCallie when McCallie was only decent and CCS supposively had the best team ever with Holwerda. Good try.

Maybe Temple could lose to McCallie once by playing bad, but may I remind you McCallie has defeated them twice. You would think if Temple was the better team they would at least win one of these matchups.

Look what happens when you put the guy in. Brett Rawlings saw some varsity minutes tonight because Lee Hilt was out sick. In the minutes he saw he knocked down two threes. Just think what would happend if he played any more. Good gosh. Also, I have to comment on OldSchool's post. How is Brandon Brown not seeing some quality PT? He is a very solid player who deserves to play.

Well I can't tell you who should be the coach of the year, but I can definitely tell you who shouldn't. Definitely not Coach Ken Henry from McCallie. He is a TERIBBLE guys coach. He may have been able to win at GPS, but can't win at all with the tremedous talent that he has at McCallie. He should have won a state title in at least 1 of the last 3 years and should definitely have a better record than he has this year. He has also caused a bunch of quality players to quit. He is a very bad coach.

You might think that, but with Coach Henry you never know. He is not a very good coach and could be getting the needed offense out of Brett Rawlings who sits the bench. Brett is a very good shooter that Henry is just waisting. There is no reason for this as he should probably be the 1st or 2nd guy off the bench. And no I'm not a parent like maybe the other guy is, I'm just watching a team lose that might have a better chance if they actually looked to get someone who can be an outside threat on the floor.

Weston Wamp is on the CCS varsity team, but doesn't play much. He did score 10 one game, which I think is his season high.

Can anybody tell me about Ryan Daniel from Goodpasture? I just saw that he committed to UTC so I was just wondering what he was all about.

One of the best juniors in the state definitely has to be Jeff Smith from Tyner. He is a solid player who can score from almost anywhere and can play anywhere from 1 to 4. I also agree with whoever said Courtney White from Ooltewah. He's a really solid player who is very versatile. Another good player who has improved alot and may not be the best but he definitely carries his team by himself is Taylor Patton from Notre Dame. He's a solid ball handler who has a very impressive ability to penetrate.

Y'all are the biggest trash talkers ever. I was trying to say that y'all are a good team and give you a compliment and all y'all do is just throw it back it my face. The only person with any class on your team is Hicks. He doesn't talk trash and he doesn't need to because he can back it up. Y'all obviously can't because he has to score all your points for you.

I'm lookin forward to that championship matchup.

Middle Valley won. The score was 40 something to 25. Central didn't score in the last 11 minutes of the game. The score was at one point in time 25-26 and then Central just went completely cold. Hicks got shut down pretty much in the first half, but then in the second half scored a couple of open baskets and gained some confidence and probably had 14 or 16 total.

No I believe Walter is Cedric's nephew. But they are still definitely related. That whole family can play.

I just want to apologize because I talked it up and couldn't back it up. Hicks tooled me the whole game and I couldn't do anything about it because I got in foul trouble early. I have to give MVB their props. They are a good team. I really believe they could beat Soddy Daisy's varsity team and it's a shame some of their players aren't playing for them. I can't wait for the next matchup hopefully in the championship game.
