They actually had five errors and FCS had 2. It wasn't the errors that beat Columbia Academy, it was the fact that the FCS pitchers held them to two hits and no walks... FCS actually had 8 hits...

So when we will know if it is cancelled??

FCS' coach is a member, but she didn't get her nominations in on time. As a friend of hers, she informed me that MTSCA had the wrong email address for her so she didn't realize she was supposed to vote. Both Hailey Rutledge and Lindsay Farmer (the only seniors) would probably have both made it, along with Camille Cross. It was miscommunication...You can bet those players, along with a few others, will be on the all-state team...

Then why does it say that all four games start at five, with two at Mcnight park and two at the Starplex? Don't mean to be bothering, I just want to make sure I'm at the right game at the right time! THanks!

Both Friendship's and Midway's schedules say that the game is at 645. According to TSSAA.org. the game is at five... How do I read this?

I'm mean really...Is this necessary at all? Does this have anything to do with softball or anything? Re-doing your ponytail is NOT shaking your hair in front of the crowd...Players redo their hair several times during a game if it falls.. and SO WHAT if the pitcher wears makeup... She is a TOUGH softball player who has over 300 strikeouts this season and a batting average over .400... Sounds like someone is just a TAD bit bitter over losing...And the fact that you are a PARENT of an athlete is really sad because all this shows is immaturity and being a sore loser... This is so ridiculous... Not your post, rocket, but the fact that someone is trying to block Mrnoitall from coacht. My guess would be that he has created more interest in the softball thread on coacht than there has ever been. As a head coach, I have been picked as both the winner and the loser, and it neither hurt my feelings nor increased my confidence. In fact, reading his post have been very entertaining to me. As a teacher, I find myself getting online between classes to see what his latest post is! So I say, KEEP IT UP MRNOITALL! You have my support, I love reading your opinions, and when it all comes down to it, you either play or go home...if a negative post online can deter your girls' playing abilities, you have bigger problems than mrnoitall...

Watertown is playing their third game tomorrow because they lost today, and in the loser's bracket you always play more games... TCHS has only played one because they got a bye first round for coming in second, and because they won tonight so they stay in the winner's bracket...

The brackets WERE set up for the losers from yesterday to play today, but during a coach's meeting held last week, the coaches voted 3-1 (two coaches were not there) that the first set of losers should go down to the loser's bracket and wait for the second set of losers to play. According to what the coaches wanted, this prevented someone who lost the first game to last longer in the tournament than someone who won first round. And all winners get TOMORROW OFF, before the finals. The only true mistake I can see in the bracket is the fact that Watertown had to play Friendship for their second game instead of TCHS.. And Friendship had to play Watertown first game instead of Westmoreland. But for Watertown, a game against either FCS OR TCHS was going to be a hard game... And you can say whatever you want about the brackets being set up for FCS and TCHS to go on, but FCS had a DOG FIGHT to beat Watertown today, so if you ask me, no matter how the brackets are set up, you still have to win to advance... And I think in this district, Watertown, FCS, OR Trousdale could do that... You are right, those numbers are just backwards according to the bracket in the paper... The loser of 7 plays the winner of game 8...
