  1. Lawrence Co. 10-0 over Wayne Co. Tullahoma Vs Coffee County - 5-1 Tullahoma.
  2. Coffee Co. @ Tullahoma Tullahoma @ MS Tournament 18-20 Grundy Co. @ Franklin Co. Warren Co. @ Franklin Co. White Co. @ Franklin Co.
  3. Work into the tough competition, you play 30 - 35 games right? the first 5 don't have to be back breakers, especially if your team may not be able to handle them. With our district you could easily schedule a tough week if you wanted later on in the season, just get a couple boro schools or private schools lined up to play the same week of Columbia or Shelbyville.
  4. Many teams play 2-3 games worth of innings anyway. It gives the kids more practice days when they need them. I don't see how 12 pre-season game days could be good. Maybe 6 days and 2 games a day is alright. Still, you get better in practice, games are just evaluations.
  5. But playing teams that youll have to play perfectly to beat is not much fun, considering rarely does anyone play near perfect. Then when the team gets stomped opening day or opening week the players lose all their confidence and moral, since they most likely think they have been working hard all off-season. Then more often than not they prepare for a long season.
  6. 8-AAA Reg. Season champion should get an automatic bid into the regions. Its much more strenuous to win that then to win the tournament in my opinion. The tournament can have "flukes" here and there, but an entire season usually shows what a team can really do. I'm sure Keeton will be in the next posting like this a few years down the road though.
  7. Lebanon didn't make that many errors for a scrimmage. the pitchers just weren't game ready. lots of walks and straight fastballs with some tailwind. Its definitely an overrated score though.
  8. Tullahoma's varsity beat Lebanon 22-0 the first game. The jv beat them 11-5. The 2nd varsity game Tullahoma won 16-3. Total varsity score 38-3 in 14 innings.
  9. Through 20 innings Tullahoma beat Lebanon by over 40 runs. Lebanon is extremely young.
  10. Tullahoma beat Lebanon by over 40 throughout 20 innings.
  11. FC anticipated EVERY pass, they played at a high level, combined with Tullahoma playing at a low level.
  12. Tullahoma's 11 ft 9 in. center in starting to get the hang of the post. He could be the difference maker for them.
  13. Time to go outside boys! Its baseball weather!

    Signings?

Every d1 player (apart from walk-ons) could sign at Walters. Not every Walters player could have signed d1. Thats the difference.
  15. WHERE IS EMMANUEL GOING TO COLLEGE!?!?! I know he is going somewhere, He told the Motlow coach that he was wasting his time when he tried to talk to him. Which means he is set somewhere. Or just that stupid. I've heard he has a JUCO in Florida?
  16. Tullahoma has a pitcher who has signed with Walters already, also their catcher is going to Columbia State. http://www.tullahomasports.com/
  17. Ha wow, thats not very fair, looks like Oakland might have struck gold!
  18. In those sports the coaches coach from the sidelines anyway. You need your baseball coaches on the field to help you with running bases. Its dumb that an umpire cant be questioned. Its part of the game.

    Signings?

Tullahoma's pitcher Chase Morris committed to Walters State.
  20. Cooper will be a big lost for us. We will be counting on the arms of Hunter Brothers whole is low 90's and Shaq Thompson and when Shaq is on he is as good as anyone. We also will have that Monster 6'8 guy Big Seth. The question will be will Frasier use Hardison at Catcher or move him to 3rd. Darrell is probably one of the best catcher's in the district. I for one am not going to miss going to CC and letting the umpires blow it for these seniors. Tullahoma's catcher Parris has got offers from Columbia State and Walters State. Also, an invited walk-on at MTSU.
  21. Awesome for FC! We all know that 8aaa is almost always up for grabs!! Only about 60 more days till season!!
  22. James Plaistad - 1B/3B/P Tullahoma .325 2 HRs as a soph. Batted over .500 with 4 HRs this summer. David Hess - P/OF/SS The best pitcher from Tullahoma since Bryan Morris.

    Signings?

Now Lee University could beat a lot of D1 schools. small d1's. Maybe even Tennessee Wesleyan. Didnt they have an outstanding season last year?
  24. I do agree with Netfan. Just because a kid is the best on your team doesn't mean he's the best in the of his class. BUT! the person who started that wanted to expand his horizons and find out who else is out there. what good does it do to just name Pfiefer and Nicky? everyone knows there good. Still, you can't go throwin your name out or your best players name out, I would say if the kid isn't d1 caliber, he's not the best.
