What a shame we did not have Clifford and Lamar coaching the Tennessee Team last year, that is what my daughter had looked forward to since Middle School.

I think one of the reasons that UTC does not get more of the quality local players is they don't make an offer if they don't think you will take it. As far as I know, none of last years GPS grads even rec'd an offer from them (all signed D1 scholarships 2 with Memphis, 1 with Howard, and 1 with ETSU).

They have only played about 8 games so far this year, none of them against anybody worth watching.

I agree, there is more to pitching than speed!!! Movement is so important. Also without a change-up or offspeed pitch, they can just sit on the fast ball all day long.

BigJ is right, the only way for the team to improve is to play better teams. Experience is one of the best learning tools, play the best to become the best.

Pitching may be a problem in tournament play. Bats should be good!
