  1. ADAM CRAIG UPDATED STATS WITH AT LEAST ONE GAME TO PLAY 2012 PASSING – 167 OF 258 65% Comp / 2,383 Yards / 14.3 YPC / 33 TD’s (7TH Best All-Time) / 5 INT’s 2012 RUSHING – 145 Carries for 1,284 Yards (8TH Best All-Time for QB)/ 8.86 YPC / 15 TD’s 2012 TOTAL OFFENSE – 3,667 Yards (5th Best All-Time) / 48 TD’s (2ND Best All-Time) CAREER PASSING – 6,990 Yards (8TH Best All-Time)/ 85 TD’s (2ND Best All-Time) / 17 INT’s CAREER RUSHING – 2,965 Yards / 31 TD’s CAREER OFFENSE – 9,955 Total Yards (2ND Best All-Time) / 116 TD’s (2ND Best All-Time)
  2. Lets go 2 years then! The golden child Marcellus Teague, his jr and sr year vs Adam Craigs So and Sr year since he was injured last year! Wait, wait, wait, I know what your gonna say, well of course his numbers are better cause he is all NS has got! HC had Dominique Allen, the LSU commit that for whatever reason ended up at Bethel backing up another lowly North Side wanna be Cordarious Mann!
  3. I believe he is talking about high school football, not SEC or high level D1 players! Several of those players you speak of sucked at the next level and should have been playing at a lower level!! The only reason Adam Craig is not in the SEC or high level D1 is because he is 6'0 and not 6'3!!! I will put his HIGH SCHOOL NUMBERS UP AGAINST ANYONE YOU NAME!
  4. KWC, can you post the highlights from tonight's game on here? This was a classic!!!
  5. I heard something yesterday from an extremely credible source that Adam Craig was also not selected as one of this years players for the East/West All-Star game. This is just another slap in the face of west tn football and one of its best players to ever play! When I heard this news I began to do some digging. I am getting this information from Murphy Fair's TN State record books on his sight. If Adam Craig has an average night, Friday night, and picks up just 269 total offensive yards he will move into 3rd place for Career Total Offensive Yards with 9,795 yards. This years numbers (3,507 yards) is the 9th best season ever for a QB for Total Offense with his TD total (43 TD's) ranking sixth all-time in state history for a single season for a QB. as of right now he is the 9th leading passer in TN History with 6,742 yards and tied for 3rd All-Time in Passing TD's. Finally he is 2nd All-Time in Career TD's for a QB in the history of Tennessee High School Football!!! All of those records, but he is not worthy of playing in the Senior All-Star game and represent the area in which he has been the best player for the past 4 years!! The irony and the best part of this story is that he could care less about all of those numbers! The only numbers he cares about is 12-0 and 11/16/2012 cause that's the date when he gets to play his next football game!
  6. Nice assessment! Very deductive and analytical! The flaw in your argument is your lack of one very important factor - MEMPHIS HAMILTON! This is not an unusual phenomenon. Most high school fans that weigh in on these boards tend to view the outcome of games with extreme bias! When the fans team wins its because their team is good and very deserving. When the fans team loses its because their team played poorly, was injured or because of a number of different outside factors! Amazingly, the teams opponent rarely is mentioned as one of the factors that brought on the losing effort. i can assure of this fact though, teams win a lot more games playing poorly than they lose playing well! Just a thought!
  7. Anyone want to alter their predictions now that Henry County is out of the mix?
  8. No one has an opinion on this Quad? There will be some great matchups!
  9. Now that the dust has settled and everyone has thought it through as to how things might play out on Friday Night and beyond, I would love to know everyones thoughts on how this Quad is going to pan out and why!!! Please when you make your picks, I would love to get some feedback/commentary on why you made each pick! Here are the matchups: Top Bracket 1) Jackson North Side vs 8) Munford 4) Hamilton vs 5) Henry County Bottom Bracket 2) Ridgeway vs 7) Lawrence County 3) Craigmont vs 6) Hardin County My Picks: Round 1 1) Jackson North Side - Adam Craig / Enough Said!!! 5) Henry County - Been there, done that 2) Ridgeway - LC has battled to make the playoffs only to be rewarded with a long trip to Memphis and an even longer trip home!!! Too much firepower for LC! 3) Craigmont - I believe this one will be close with Craigmont's speed beating Hardin County's power Round 2 - Will save commentary for game week 1) Jackson North Side over 5)Henry County 2) Ridgeway over 3) Craigmont Round 3 - Rematch of 2010 Quarters 1) Jackson North Side avenges 2010 defeat Keep it real, but keep it clean!!!
  10. Here is what it says: "If Henry County and Northeast win, Dickson County is 1st and Northeast is 2nd. If Henry County and Northwest win, Henry County is 1st and Dickson County is 2nd. If Rossview and Northeast win, Dickson County is 1st and Northeast is 2nd." They do have 13's wrong though! NS has not clinched first place! If NS and Brighton both lose, Hardin Co would win District! If either win, NS wins district!
  11. For what's its worth here are my two cents! Millington was loaded with athletes on defense, a lot of speed! Yes NS played a sloppy game with 6 or 7 drops. They haven't dropped balls like that all year and even though the balls were right in the WR's hands I still credit Millingtons defense with the drops cause they broke on balls well and closed fast! Normally NS WR's catch it have time to make a move on the defense and get a ton of YAC yards! That wasn't happening Friday Night! Millington's defense had very good tacklers! It also looked sloppy because of the blown blitz pickups by the Oline! But they found a way to move the ball and put together a couple of drives and that was enough to win because NSides defense absolutely stoned Millington and their very good back! I think the kid only had like 26 yards rushing and they only had 85 total yards of offense on the night! Now with all that being said about the Millington game, lets turn to Hardin County! Hardin County is not Millington! I have seen them twice and they have none of those defensive attributes that I mentioned Millington had! IMO unless Hardin Co can somehow ball control NS and keep it away from NS's offense, it could get ugly cause NS will score on Hardin Counties defense! Too much speed and athleticism for Hardin Co to handle in space! I say NS 35-14 and that's being conservative!
  12. If you have seen these two teams play, what will it take for each to win?
  13. There is a lot on the line in this game!!! In 2010, North Side went 10-0 for the first time in school history and finished the season 12-1! A win Friday night would give the Indians their second 10-0 season in 3 years! The win would also give NS it's second district championship in as many years. It would also land them with the #1 seed in quad 4 and home field advantage throughout the playoffs. With a loss, North Side could still win the District Championship with a Brighton win in their game against Dyer Co due to tiebreakers! If Hardin Co were to beat NS and Brighton lose to Dyer Co then Hardin Co would finish 1st and NS 2nd! IMO the chances of both NS and Brighton losing is very unlikely, but what are your thoughts on this game and each teams chances in the playoffs in 5A Quad 4?
  14. I think the way you have Quad 4 is exactly how it will be! 1) J NS 2) Ridgeway 3) Craigmont 4) Hamilton 5) C NE 6) Henry Co 7) Hardin Co 8) Munford
  15. What are your thoughts on how this one will end up?
  16. Is there any rule about teams from the same district playing each other in the first round of the playoffs?
  17. no the tie breakers are the same throughout with the first being head to head then overall record, but when you have a 3 way tie with the 3 teams beating each other then head to head is a push so you go to overall record and DC has the most wins so they are #1! To determine #2 the process starts over. NE and HC are tied in district play at 3-1 but NE beat HC head to head so they would be #2!
  18. They have to do it this way cause some districts are stronger than others and then there is the scheduling fiasco! Truth be known, if Hardin Co had to play in Henry Co and NE's district they wouldn't even make the playoffs cause they wouldn't be able to schedule 6 non district games! Their non-district opponents consisted of three 4A teams, two 2A teams and 1 5A team! This made up 4 of their 6 wins! Another great example of how the system sux is the fact that Hardin Co was sitting as the 2 seed in quad 4 going into this week and lost to Lawrence Co that isn't going to win a single district game and will finish 4-6 and not make the playoffs!!! Small district and great scheduling ='s playoff birth!!!
  19. I'll give you another scenario to explain what I mean. If NS and Brighton lose next week then HC would be district champs but NS would still hold the #1 seed in quad 4 because T$$AA's first criteria for determining seedings is overall record and NS would be 9-1 and HC would be 7-3!
  20. This does not mean that NE will have the higher seed in the playoffs! NE can finish 2nd and HC could still have the higher seed in the playoffs! The 1st and 2nd place stuff is just part of determining the field of 32! Once the field is set, seedings are based strictly on the T$$AA's point system!
