  1. Can Lebanon compete in their region, is the next HC gonna get some time, and do they have the teaching job to bring in whoever they want most...those are 3 very important questions. Yes Lebanon will be able to compete, no he will be expected to perform in week 0, and no there has/will not be provisions made to get in "his" guys. It wasn't done in the past, and won't be in the future.
  2. Redsman, also as an alumn of LHS I am discouraged by the state of LHS. If you will remember in the 2000s the county opened Wilson Central high school. In so doing they took the Southside students to Central and Lebanon High lost the student athlete that had true grit and work ethic. As a former athlete of LHS and assuming you are as well think back to those "great" teams. Who were the players that held it all together? I would dare so they were young men and women that cam from families that were a true family unit, instilled a work ethic in their children, held them accountable for their actions and supported them. The present LHS and society as a whole does not have a good representation of this today. When they took the "true" middle class from LHS and to Wilson Central the school has never been the same. Ddevil1 - I can hear your frustration and understand your point. But not everything is truly as it appears! There are things going on that you don't know the whole truth about, I can guarantee it. The coaches are attempting to bring the program back to where it once was. That takes accountability, commitment, and dedication and these traits cannot be instilled or taught by a group of coaches for a few hours a day, but must come from the home. Today's student athlete is a totally different breed. Go talk to any of your "favorite" coaches and they will tell you that. These men need support from fans, parents, and staff, not finger pointing and ridicule.
  3. Coach Bobby Brown told the team this afternoon he was stepping down from coaching football at LHS. Wilsonpost.com has reported this fact this afternoon.
  4. Beth Wheeler is a great girl. she is no longer coaching at Cumberland. She stepped down form that position that season. Are you serious about Ashley Mac? She is a pretty big catch for SC. Sure it would be a pretty pricy step to make.
  5. Congrats Franklin girls b-ball team and Coach Sean Stephenson. Awesome job! Good luck in the Region tournament!
  6. Harris' hooligans I am sorry you have a miss conception of the boys at Lebanon High, but that offends me that you called them a bunch of thugs. Coach Keil an ex coach of mine and a good friend runs a fine program and I know those boys at the school and they are fine boys. I have played and coached with most of those guys you called thugs, and they are not. I would be proud to go to a district war with the boys at Lebanon over any other District 7 AAA team. Thought this was a thread about predictions of the tourney, not to bash people. But that is usually all that goes on on this site. Uniformed people making biased remarks. Watch out for the ones no one talks about and are hungry for victories! Gotta stand up for my boys and GO BIG BLUE. LHS c/o 98 #40
