Seems like a good hire, didn't see much about his coaching experience, mostly playing, other than assistant at BA and coaching offensive line. Has he been a coordinator of either side of the ball? I know he has been around some great coaches in the past with college and high school. Sounds like he is a great guy that the players will like.

If I was associated with MTCS, I would probably be even more upset with SHAD right now. It doesn't seem like he did them any favors in the scheduling - How could a Single A team not find any Single A teams to play outside their region next season? From the looks of their schedule, the only Single A teams they are playing are going to be Eagleville, Moore County, and Huntland (All Region Games). Loosing those kind of players after a playoff year, then leaving looks real bad on his part from where I stand. You can talk about all the promises broken all you want, but if you took the job and did what he did after a year then leave, it looks like you are totally in it for yourself...NOT THE KIDS.

Any word yet about a coach? Who has applied, have they started interviewing, when do they plan to hire?

This is an old region minus a few teams (Zion, MC, Huntland) and a few "BIG" schools added (Richland and Loretto). What does everyone think will happen in this region in '09?

wahlly81, Didn't Zion follow CA all year long on film swaps? If so, does that mean Zion has all of CA's games this year? If that is the case, I'll take Zion because you guys can scheme and beat CA, they are way to predictable.
