Thanks for the insight. I have only recently started loooking at high school baseball and need to look more closely. I do agree Tennessee, as a whole, has a significant amount of talent, especially when you include the collegiate programs in the state. Thanks again.
I've spent a lot of time recently looking for opportunities for my son (12U) to play competitive travel ball in Middle Tennessee. While there are a few good teams (ie. Major or AAA teams like the Shoetiques, etc.), there seems to be a relatively disproportionate number of highly competitive teams from East Tennessee. Any ideas as to why this is the case? Surely there are talented players in middle Tennessee (like the 13U Legends). Would appreciate any feedback.
My son is 12 (4/23/96) and is looking for a late summer or fall chance to play competetive baseball in the Nashville area. He has been playing for 8 years, 6 in Crieve Hall and 2 in GNABA travel. He is a short stop/middle infielder and can pitch as well. We would also like to hear about any tryouts or other opportunities for 13U teams in the greater Nashville area for next spring. We would appreciate any info/help anyone might have. We can provide updated stats for anyone who is interested and would like a current snapshot of his season so far this year.Thanks.
