  1. I can't stand people who talk themselves up or their team without even playing a game. Its pretty comical to me. No wait what's funny is when you talk yourself up and then don't perform then you just look stupid. So next time you talk atleast have a reason to.
  2. In my mind and others, Brandon Tarr is way over-rated. Yes he was a very good player several years ago when playing for the national team, but most everyone has caught up to him in size and speed. The last several of years he has become more and more lazy and less productive. And yes, if you play him the perfect ball he has the ability to finish it, but he doesn't have the work rate that Mark Sherrod has. Honestly when I saw CAK play I thought they were much more effective without Brandon. Mark Sherrod will do the work necessary to create goal opportunities.
  3. First of all, he is the best forward in the state. He has incredible strength on the ball, an incredible work rate, can find the back of the net, and knows how to PLAY soccer. Second, if all you know is high school soccer than you cant comment on this because high school soccer is AYSO compared to club soccer. Just because he plays for a team that is not a powerhouse doesn't mean he is not the best player. Go watch his club team play.
  4. I think Trevor Grieco for Farragut will be a player to watch out for. He has improved incredibly over the years.
  5. Although they did change the club state to the fall as a player I do not think this helps Tennessee teams at all. Most other states in our region have been playing club all spring where we have only 3 weeks to get acquainted with our old teammates. I don??™t think there is a solution unless the whole club and high school seasons were completely switched...... Not likely
  6. If all this talk doesn't get you going i don't know what will.
  7. It looked like Catholic had the game under control for 100% of the time. But the Bucs put up a good fight. But it looks as if the divine intervention couldn't have hurt. Now lets see if the irish can bring home their first championship against their arch rivals from across the road......looks to be a good game.
  8. he wants to know why so that he can start complaining about public and private schools....
  9. I know that quite a few play club. Definitely more than half. But I would have to disagree with your assessment of Good Pasture's defense and goalie. You are right in the they did not let in many goals, but most any team can keep the score low when you pack the box. But i'm not taking anything away from Pasture, because it's a strategy of the game.
  10. Although the score did not show, Catholic dominated the game. But hats off to Good Pasture for not letting the game get out of hand. Im looking forward to watching more of Good Pasture in the years to come. Congrats to both teams. And good luck the the Irish on their quest for their first state title.
