That is what the Coach T bracket says. And in addition Boyd Buchanan and Grace had a play in game which Boyd won to then play the number #1 seed Silverdale in the semis. Copper Basin played CSAS in the other semi. Based on regular season results it looks like Copper Basin should have been #4 seed and played Grace in the play in game with the winner playing CSAS. Just wondering if anyone knew why it was like this.

Based on the regular season results does anyone know how Copper Basin was the #2 seed for the girls 5A tournament? I'm just curious. It looks like they should have been 4th. Does anyone know?

I saw a score posted today that says Polk County beat CSAS 20-5. I find that hard to believe seeing as CSAS has a decent team this year and gas played good squads like Boyd Buchanan within 1 goal. I've never known Polk County to be that dominate in. girls soccer. Can anyone confirm this score to be accurate? If so then how did they do it?

I would say that this year's Hardin County team is better. They won their region for the 1st time in 21 years. One quality they have is that they do not give up. If Melrose is truly better as well it should be another good game.

How do you all seeing this game playing out? Hardin has played everyone close this year and is playing some good ball. I know Melrose plays in a very tough region and is a good team. Thoughts?

That was only Silverdale's 2nd loss of the year. How did Silverdale become so good in just 2 years? And I am not wanting smart remarks about recruiting. Just wondering do they have a lot of club players or something? Great coach?

Do they have bleachers? I heard that you have to bring your own chairs or stand. That seems really cheap to me for a state tournament atmosphere.

According to the TSSAA website when she played in the state tournament last year she was only a junior. This would have been her senior year.

What happened to Brittany McBryar from CCS? Did she transfer or decide not to play this year? I don't think she graduated.

Boyd won 1-0.

No one gave Boyd a chance against Ridgeway in 98 either. They were supposed to be the best team in the state and easily win the game. Boyd won 4-3. If Boyd is lucky enough to make it past Madison I would not count them out so quick. Anything can happen at state.

I don't know any other details except that Boyd won 2-1 in overtime. That is the 3rd straight OT win for Boyd. They are hot right now. I also believe this is their first region title since 1998 when they finished as state runner-up. Congrats Boyd!!!
