Our O has yet to show up against a good defense. I think with all the injuries and switching around ss should take a good look at who's playing where and fill in some needed spaces on the offense. The defense has been the main powerhouse of the team with #45 and #51 leading the pack. Maybe these guys should be used a little more on the O when things are getting tough. #12 does have a bit of a chip but his frustrations are more than legitimate. Combining #12 and #5 would literally wear a defense out and leave them wondering what was comming next. JMO

Great game by the defense last week!! Let's hope the Topper O can get it together before next Friday. Lots of players have stepped up and done a great job. Moses and RJ should definitely get more playing time based on their efforts last week. ss needs to remember there are 11 players on the field at all times......Not 1 or 2!! #12 should also be on the field more.

Anyone know anything about Moses? Seems like he should be on the field more...offense or defense... I think he could be a key player but doesn't seem to get much playing time

You can't tell anything from an 8th or 9th grade team. The speed and size in the game change drastically. The sophs were supposed to be great.........

Great Post! It would probably be helpful if our coach would stop giving the media the idea that the team is a one or two man show!! No wonder the kids are having so much trouble becomming a team. IMO Coach Bosken is the only coach having any impact on the team. In his short time there it is very apparent that he is a true coach in every sense of the word and has the most natural coaching ability. He will carry all the other coaches this year, as he is a superior coach. I look forward to watching him at all the games to see the outstanding impact he has with the team. He is spectacular to watch. How ya like that ss ??

Norris did not look good at all. Has a good arm but being a qb is more than that. He's great at baseball

You're right......ss does try to fit a square peg into a round hole. FYI, a lot of the starters had to sit out the first half of the scrimmage and big changes were made on both offense and defense as recently as Wednesday. Our best qb hurt his ankle in the beginning of the scrimmage and was out. Too much going on with all the mix ups to predict anything about this teams future.

There was no 54 backer last year only 45 and 51 and they are both back for this year. The toppers won't be weak or poorly conditioned this season.

The toppers have a lot of talent this year on both sides of the ball. Some of the same problems with attitudes and it seems like ss always tries to fit a square peg into a round hole. MHO........play the players that want to play and that love the game and know the meaning of team.........let the rest watch from the sidelines.
