  1. They can't compete with you. This is one area that you do excell.
  2. 1. Two teams that have alot of respect for each other. 2. A game that has significant meaning for both teams. 3. Two teams that have shown their best and have shown their worse, everyone just keeping quite until the horn sounds??
  3. I thought you said, "But you or any other Volunteer fan that would like to talk about it go right ahead. I will read." I knew you couldn't keep your motor mouth quite, Idiot.
  4. Yeah--I shouldn't think so much. I just need to just continue keeping it very simple and very elementary. I forget about you and Whacko, my apologies.
  5. In my opinion, they should play as many as they want and can. Two seems to be the most that many can manage (given practice, studies, personal interest), but some play 3 (you mentioned Connell at Boone--he plays fb, bsktbl and bseball and excels in all). Football is the one that really can cut into other sports time---(if you really want to devote time to the weight room). My opinion is that the parents should build an expectation that the kid should not drop out of anything until after his Freshman year, maybe even Soph.year, until they can make the most intellegent choice.

  7. Amen on the new stadium announcer. "Move the chains, it's another Science Hill 2nd Down!!!!!!"
  8. This is good, nobody really cares but it does serve as a place to keep the two occupied and off the other threads. Naughhhh, I doubt it.
  9. Dang, Holy BatmanDB, ossswipe,--- I mean Tosssweep. ARe you kidding me??? Didn't you see my "After all, there's not as many life lessons being taught at home these days----that's the shame of it."???? I wasn't joking, I assure you. I just thought everyone would know what I meant and not take me literally.
  10. This is not a reply to your note alone, but to all the comments regarding playing time, being looked over, not getting a fair chance, etc.etc. If you (or anyone else) has ever coached a football team or any other sport higher than a rec.league, you have had to make the tough decisions as to who starts, who plays, who's the QB, who's the RB, etc. You made those decisions based on many factors, some being: hustle in practice, performance during practice, dedication, heart, school, attendance, leadership, crimes committed to society (ha, just kidding--this is not UT). Sometimes this is not necessarily the fastest player, not the biggest player. When the competition for position is close, you reward the one that has earned it most. If you do your job, you find a way to win and still teach the life lessons that you are obligated to teach. After all, there's not as many life lessons being taught at home these days----that's the shame of it. WE dont' have time anymore----we pay taxes--let's let the teachers and the coaches do the dirty work. And--Don't attack me for the truth--I could have done a better job, as well.
  11. Ahhhhhhhh, Let's hug. I agree to an extent, but football, in all honesty, is a lesson in life----- The best sport that's ever, ever been invented----and it was always meant to be serious. I don't ever recall a commercial or documentary showing a football player dressed in a skirt, with foo-foo water on all smelling good, showing Sam Huff (Linebacker) inviting Jim Taylor (Fullback) over to his side of the ball for ice tea and cake.
  12. Hey, Idiot, unless you are a Sensibaugh or a Whitten, your football degrees would not even come close to comparing to mine. But sense you threw it out there, go ahead and tell us about your illustrious career. We're all waiting to hear this.
  13. Dang it. I was on my way across the border to get me some. Got to the Ford Dealership and had to turn around. Started to go in and see Dwight, but they said he went home sick---something about his blood pressure.
  14. See, that's what's wrong with this world. When someone fails to meet the standards, they just act like it's not important, and just settle for mediocrity. You can't spell, but you dismiss it. You can't sell ford parts well either, but you settle for the occasional sale when someone really needs the part and can't find it somewhere else. You weren't good at football during your day, so you try to go on all these threads and try to sound like you know football. Huh! Loser, Idiot.
  15. You wish, Idiot. Don't call me an Idiot, YOu're trying to steal my word, you're trying to be like me now. You can't be me. I'm me. You want to be like me, but I won't let you be me. Go back to the parts counter and get to work. Do you and the Weird B3 panzie work together???
  16. I remember after the McMinn game you were ready to fire all the coaches, Idiot.
  17. I just don't like you. You having trouble spelling again, Idiot??
  18. Ahhh, the idiot shares his most revealing side. At-a-boy, Idiot.
  19. YOu are correct. He's alittle over the edge with volume, but he is a good guy.
  20. Hey, Whacko and Weird B3, call me at home.
