  1. Any more info or do you know where I can find the information on the web, I would like to know about any Central players. Thank You
  2. Anyone know the players on the All region team. Thanks for any info.
  3. Central may not be as bad as it seems, theyve had a few injuries and some growing pains. One issue has been the schedule, they have lost to Farragut 4-0, Cookeville 4-0, and a decent Halls team which lost 2 games to 4-0 Sevier County, and Maryville. Farragut and Cookeville are 2 of the top ranked teams in 5A in the State. I believe the Cats have the ability to turn things around. They are 0-3 now but I think alot of teams could share their misery if they played the same schedule. I believe the turnaround starts Friday night in Fountain City.
  4. The scrimmage was played much like a game format using chains and downs with officials. While under this format Central got the better of the Pats 28-7. The Bobcats look to have the playmakers to rebound from disappointing seasons the last 2 years. Holbert at QB is a 3 year starter for the cats although this is the first year at QB on Friday nights. Running back P. Saah is back from injury and is an playmaker, Tailback J.Wilson has remained healthy so far this preseason and when healthy he can GO. M. Reevey is a newcomer who sat out last year but played as a freshman and this kid could provide a dimension the cats havent seen since Terrence Scott at slot and receiver. J. Allen and W.McMillan are dependable receivers. Defensively Central isn't big but they swarm to the ball and play very agressive. Coach Mac will do a good job with this group. So far this pre season things look promising for Central the only negative is they arent very deep and several kids play both ways. Theyll need to stay away from the injury bug. On the other side I think Jeff County can have a good year, the QB is an athlete he made several nice runs on busted or stopped plays. There fullback is a stud. They looked good at times running the veer but will need to develope the passing game to keep teams from stacking the box on them. Good Luck to the Patriots.
  5. Stinson is a former Fulton QB who led the Falcons to a state championship a couple of years ago.
  6. Your sources are wrong. Stinson will attend Knox Central he is practicing with the Cats.
  7. Central will move forward, the kid is a good athlete but not great. The Cats have several good athletes this year although young, and shouldnt miss the kid terribly bad.
  8. Styles has transferred to Fulton, he has already played in the passing league for the Falcons.
  9. Word out of Ftn City is that Styles Sr. has been released from the CHS coaching staff.
