HC-7 MBA-6 at half. 

HC/MBA are doing a 2 quarter simulation with varsity then younger guys after that. At the the end of 1st quarter 7-0 HC.

Henry Co was up and down tonight. Quite a few new faces though and the 3 way scrimmage makes it hard to get in rhythm.

Looks like a 3-way scrimmage with Bartlett, Christian Bros, and Henry Co.

I think we will be pretty solid. It is a little bit of a rebuilding year, but we do have quite a bit of talent.

I think we will be solid and might surprise some people. Region is tougher but we’ve played tough out of region teams for years.

Northeast won both of those meetings. '94 was a 41-0 thumping. '95 was a more respectable 24-14. But it's hard to overstate how good NE was that year. I remember that team well. It was before the public-private split, and they lost to Brentwood Academy in the semifinals by a score of like 7-3.

They might have legitimately been the best public school team in the state that year besides Riverdale. 

That was so long ago, I couldn’t  remember. I recall the 96 team being good but losing earlier in the playoffs than expected.

1995 Northeast @ Henry County. It's just highlights. 

It was a loss for the Big Red but NE was a giant that year. HC was pretty dang good too. This was probably the last "really good" team we had before Gaddis. #34 for the Eagles is Vol legend Travis Stephens, whose YouTube channel this appears to be. The '94 game is on there as well. 

Great find, thanks for posting. I’ll have to watch both of those. Didn’t we win one of those games and lose one?

I don’t think he has 30 years yet, I believe he is around 50.

The Riverdale head coach is a former HC player.

I would assume so and have confidence in his ability.

5-1 or 6-1. A good team with some very good lineman on both sides.

HC will definitely miss this senior class but we have some very good young players in the pipeline and I think it will be a good season. I actually expect solid seasons for the next few years. Development at several positions is key but I think the coaches and kids get it done. 

Hats off to Page, they made the plays when they had to.
