Took Cates out of 3 of 4 games!!! That is hilarious. What is going to be even more hilarious is when your Owls get drummed this Friday night.

How do I maintain a lack of credibility?

I don't know how many games the Wilson Cates teams won against the Owls, but I know he did plenty against the Owls. Bottom line all you Owl fans are living in the past. This is the present. And the present is going to prove what I am saying is true. LA takes this game Friday night. And King is right, a bunch of you Owl fans are going to have to eat some crow. LA - 21, SC - 7

Don't worry about when the last time was. Be worried about now. McCoin is a freshman and he is the next Wilson Cates except he can throw it better than Cates. You will see for yourself this Friday.

Smith County will see that this isn't the same Livingston Academy team that they have faced the last couple of years. I think the Owls will be in for a rude awakening when we come to the hole this Friday. You don't have enough speed to keep up with this young LA team, and that was proven when this kids played in middle school just a few years ago. And from the sounds of it, that won't change for a while if that 54-0 score. LA - 21, SC - 7.

But the intensity, belief, heart, etc. of these girls is not in question. I never questioned any of that. I merely said that we were fortunate to win the game and that I wouldn't necessarily get all geeked out about the win. We let 2 girls from Smith County score 40 points out of 56. Unacceptable if we want to make a run in the postseason. In other words, I still think we can play better!

I am also a realist and I was just saying that I wouldn't go as far as to say that we can beat anyone by beating a decent at best Smith County team by 8 points. And I feel like that we was somewhat fortunate to win the game. Glad we did. What does Wilson Cates have to do with any of this.

While I am excited to see our girls get a big win over a pretty good Smith County team, I don't think I would say that if we play like that, that we can almost go anywhere. And I don't really know how you could say that we did a good job on Farris. What did she have 30 points? I am just guessing. I would imagine mid 20's anyway. And we didn't foul her out. She had 4 fouls halfway through the 3rd quarter and we never took the ball to her and made her foul. If she leaves the game, the game is over, period. Why was we not smart enough to do exactly that? The fact of the matter is, I was very surprised to see Smith County press us. I figured they would want it to be a half court game. I would. Thankfully our first 9 points by A. Sells were easy looks at 3's because Smith County didn't do too well on the press. Not only that, if Smith County would have beaten our press, they would have won the game. I would be afraid to guess how many turnovers they had off of our press. There for a long time, I didn't know if they would get the ball past the mid stripe. Our press looked good. That won us the game in my opinion.

Steel Curtain my rear end! Smith County is not that good. I know, I predicted LA to win and that didnt happen but we all know why. Home cooking big time! If this game is played in Livingston we win. Everyone thought we didnt have a chance against Smith County. The score looks worse than what it really was. Smith County scored one TD late. We will see you next year.

Many moons? Thats funny right there! You are another one of those Smith County Owl fans that are blinded by those rose colored glassses you like to wear. LA will win the war in the Oline and Dline. Thats were the games are won anyway. You lose your QB and TB and think that in one offseason you are going to be able to get some people to replace them when you barely beat us last year.

I dont know your players by name either. So I cant just tell you there names, but it has been said that yall lost 23 seniors. I know you lost your TB and QB for sure. Point is, we didnt lose hardly anything and yall barely beat us last year. You cant just think your gonna win because it is at yalls home. Termite, you boy are in for a big surprise. And we aint got no secret weapon, but we got what it takes. Where is all the LA fans at that actually know we are gonna win?

I do think Chelsea will help Smith County. I hate to hear that she isn't playing at LA anymore. Don't really understand that move, but she will help them.

We have beat yall before. You act like we have never beaten yall. I KNOW we will beat yall this year. You guys lost way too much. We have the better team this year, and you will see soon enough. Good Luck to you guys because I seriously think you are gonna need it.
