  1. #12 is a great basketball player and I can for sure see him being a game changer tonight. For all of those going to the game tonight I have a feeling you are in for a treat when #12 of s'town and Drey Mercer from Pc take the floor and face off against each other. 12 is a good shooter and Mercer is fast fast fast and plays in your face D. Should be fun to watch. I would like to say that PC is over rated, but I can't, beacause they're not rated at all!!! In fact, if you look at the latest AP poll, you wont see a single vote for PC and yet they get on here and talk like they are the best... As I said before, make PC have to play a half court game where they have to shoot the ball and they will struggle... I think that S'town can win this game and not have to be perfect to do so. We'll see... One more thing, If it comes about that PC and MTP meet in the region tournament, please, all fans need to bring along a helmet for safety... and WEAR IT!!!!!
  2. There is a major gap between the 1st and 2nd best team in the district. Nothing is impossible but unless PC forgets to show up (which could happen) turn out the lights on this one. the best battle will be for 3rd place between c'wood and wc. I've seen PC and S'town both play this season, and I don't see the "major gap" you're refering to... Other than the Rhodes kid, they dont have a pure shooter on the whole team, and that will catch up to them as they play deeper... Oh, and one more thing... I doubt that the referee's will foul out six S'town players (all 5 starters), the way they did C'wood!!!!!
  3. Why did this topic all of a sudden die after last friday night? where are the PC and WC fans? looks like the district might be a little more competitive than was thought.
  4. You and sssssss just can't stand it that WC is good, and as far as us not being good 11-0....undefeated buddy . If WC has played no one than how come WC has played more teams with a .500 or better recored than JB has (not down gradeing JB, THEIR GOOD, I think BOTH WC and JB have really good teams and some outstanding atheletes.) Also, if C'wood played good cometition (which they did). Then its pretty funny that WC beat the worse than any of the other teams. That's also a little fun fact for you to sssssss . Go Cats. Actually that's a pretty good point you make...I change my mind WC will win!!!!
  5. Skeeter you got me. I didn't think about it until after I had posted it, but you guys had to play WC TWICE and I didn't even think about that. I forgot about those TWO wins that WC had against your cream puff team. I guess that made WC's schedule TWICE as weak as C'wood's. As far as getting beat bad this week I don't think that will happen. This should be a good game and it'll be closer than last year's game either way. Rice maybe over rated but he still beat you guys TWICE this year. You're just sore because WC beat Collinwood TWICE this year. By the way did I say that WC beat Collinwood TWICE this year. It's not Y'all... I'm not from C'wood... But I do appreciate you proving my point that WC has played NO ONE!!...C'wood lost five games!!..but I do give them credit for playing some good competition this year and not just trying to pad the win column against weak opponents like WC did...You have one more day to talk about your great undefeated season...enjoy it!!!
  6. How much tuffer is that? Both Davidson Academy and Adamsville are still playing... How many creampuffs are still playing from WC's weak schedule... I was at the last WC vs C'Wood game, so I can say this with a great amount of confidence... JB is going beat WC bad, just like last year, I'd say a corbon copy... The WC QB is sooooo over rated... he just slings it up... I will say, he has a couple of good receivers that can go get the ball, but if he's being pressured, he gets those "happy feet" and just slings it out their. I've said all year long that when WC has to play someone, it will be exposure time, and that will be this Friday.
  7. Yeah maybe he can come over and sit on our side so we can comprehend the game and whats goin on i was so worried we wouldnt be able to keep up with the pace of the game. Hmm speedy defense. Lets see Lamborghini vs. Freight Train, u tell me. No one called you a "red neck" ... but if the shoe fits. Maybe I do need to sit on the WC side tonight... I'm sure that the seating is probably a lot better, and, it will give the WC women something decent to look at.
  8. 39 to 6 huh? I love it...just because you want it like that won't mean a thing on the field You know you said the samething about Perry Co. and look what happend!!!! You said that Perry Co. had the best D that Wayne Co.has seen all year , and look what happend!!! WC and C,Wood played in a muddy mess and look at the score. WC had half the yards rushing and passing in that game!!!! This week were on a dry field and WC will be leaving nothing in the field house it will be comming to the field ( ALL OF IT )!!!!!!!!!!! So all you C,Wood fans COME ON UP and and bring some money and you can buy your lunch at the game!!!!! GO WAYNE CO. !!!!!!!!! Its obvious from all of these posts that no one knows anything about football but Wayne County people, but I'll give it a shot... Doesn't a small quick defense thats flies to the ball like Collinwood (and I have seen them play) also benefit from a dry field?... And on a soaking wet field, wont that same defense have a huge disadvantage by not being able to make cuts and use their speed to get to the football?... And doesn't the offense always have the advantage on a wet field because they are aware of what plays are being called and the defense cannot quickly adjust (if need be), in those awfull field conditions with no footing?... Just wondering.
  9. Right on brother once we run #5 on the out side and get some miss direction with #41 throw it to little #21 and watchin them go...I just can't wait for the D to be able to really get their footing and show their speed, espically the DL. You gonna make it to the game man. Go Cats. Gosh!! all of these Wayne County player numbers being thrown around... Sounds like this should be a college team... Enjoy this "big whippin" "could get ugly" win your gunna put on a four loss Collinwood team because it will be your last this year... After this week, your going to have step away from that sissy scheduled you've played this year, and get exposed. You know, just like last year... You WC boys that play basketball need to start warming up, you'll be in the gym soon!!!
  10. It's funny to me that WC has beaten 4 of the 6 teams in their Quad and their Quad has the best overall record in the 1a playoffs. I think there's about 6 teams that they beat made the playoffs 4 in 1a, 1 in 2a & 1 in 4a. I agree some of the teams were down this year that are on their schedule but they seemed to beat everyone they played soundly. I think they got the 1 seed due to having a stronger schedule than Jo Byrns. Looks like WC may have beaten a tougher schedule than most people have given them credit for. I believe that C'wood & Perry County both would win several games in the playoffs if the playoffs were laid out differently. Try to dance around the facts if you want... It plainly reads, "teams are ranked based on the average win % of its scheduled opponents"... Wayne Counties strength of schedule ranks 76 OUT OF 80 !!!
  11. Congrats on another "bye week" Waynce County... Thats eleven in a row!! Skeeter are you saying that Wayne County hasn't played anyone or what?[/quoteJ Iv'e been saying it all year... just take a look a Strength of Schedule right here on Coach T... Be patient, you'll have to scroll all the way to the bottom.
  12. Congrats on another "bye week" Waynce County... Thats eleven in a row!!
  13. Just to satisfy all of you WC whiners, I have family in Cedar Hill and in Wayne County... The only reason that you people are being so defensive is because, deep down you know that I'm right about your schedule and your scared to death that when you play a credible opponent you'll get exposed... I don't blame you for being concerned and I don't have anything against WC people, players, or coaches... I'm just speaking fact... WC has played NO ONE!! and you all know it.
  14. Listen, I'm not saying that WC is not any good, but if you look at their schedule, its just not at all impressive...Theirs a lot of Single A schools that would be undefeated playing that weak schedule. And by the way, my team is Jo Byrns... Still want to bet? Oh skeeter... I don't know why you keep sayin this is a weak schedule. C'wood (4-2), Perry Co. (4-2), Cornersville (3-2), Chester Co. (2-3) 3A, they have only lost to Adamsville (7-0), Hardin Co. (6-0), WAYNE CO. (6-0), looks pretty tough to me. Who have ya'll beat Cascade and White House , WC has dominated them every year, and untill last year Jo Byrns is the only team out of there region to make it to the second round, so it seems we have the tougher schedule. I'm not sayin that Jo Byrns isn't good cause they are and we haven't beat them yet so they have are respect, but don't look to far ahead cause you might get suprised by this WC team. Although, like I said last week just keep talkin smack to make our boys fight harder. Thanks You're right, Chester County did lose to Adamsville and Hardin County... by a combined score of 43-7... Actually if you look at it, they gave WC a better game than any of their losses... Sugar coat it all you want, WC has played NO ONE!!! And why bring up a team they haven't even played yet? (Collinwood)... I'm talking about you're schedule to date... And I didn't bring up last years blowout... You did!
