i think that CJ is a mid major point guard. Anyone know who he's gettin recruited by? He does a great job of slashing and gettin to the basket. He needs to work on his shootin some and definitely his free throws. He shoots too much with an arch. Rex can slash and shoot. I see Rex playin JUCO. Ced is good. If he grows a couple of inches like someone else said he could play the 4 spot in college. I dont see major D1 talent with him like i do with Prather but for sure some smaller D1 schools like UTM, UT Chat, APSU or somewhere among those types of schools. Now Jon Hudson and Fred Yarbrough are VERY good for freshmans. They should have D1 talent by their junior and senior years. I would like to see Hudson grow into a 6'6" frame and play shooting guard at Tennessee.

You dont know $hit about talent then! If casey prather is not D1 talent then dyer co doesnt have any JUCO talent. Im not dissing any player from DC either. Prather is just that good. You seen 1 game, where the refs got him for 2 cheap fouls. If he would've just played half the game, the turnout would've been different. Im not takin anything from DC at all because I know they are good. But you have to be insane to say Bethel or Freed is where Prather will be! He's major talent.

I can assure you that ive watched plenty of ball...And it was one of the worse! Not just against Northside but on DC as well. I could care less which team won. I just wanted to see them play instead of getting called for fouls the whole time. DC is very good and does a great job of makin turnovers into points. I love the run and gun style. Ced's put back dunk was very impressive.

Not knocking DC but Northside should've won this game. It was the worst job of officiating i've ever seen! Especially the 1st and 3rd foul on Prather. Alot of ppl came to that game to watch him play, not the refs blow the whistle every other play. Prather sat half of the 1st, the whole 2nd, and half of the 3rd. The kids should be able to play the game. The refs also called some bad calls on DC. The game could've been so much more exciting, i was very upset with the refs and so were alot of others. But anyways good luck to DC thursday.

Liberty would have beat them with Sampson, The Longs, Devon and Sain. That Bolivar team with Kemp and Chism would too.

Click from Dburg, Watson from Haywood, And Mosier from Crockett are IMO the best players in the region regardless of stats. If Mosier would have played half the games he missed this year, his stats would be very good. But CC splits up its carries with usually 3 backs so no one will have outstanding numbers. Same thing with the 07 class. If Perry or either of the Johnsons played for a mediocre team with them being the only stars then they would have broke records. Just as Andre Flowers did at DC. So stats arent all you can base it on. Perry was the region MVP and didnt break the 1000 rushing yard mark. He was in the 900's.

I think Pratt will have them ready. This will probably be the fastest and most hard hitting team Crockett has faced this year. I dont know much about Mitchell this year but they always have athletes. If Mosier isnt playin then i see it hard for Crockett to win. Just his presence helps, he his the leader of the team so some other guys are gonna have to step up and lead this team if they want to move on to round 2. Bass and Prewitt have produced all year, lets hope they keep it up. Austin Taylor is also back, i dont know if he's 100% but he does provide a big body and the fullback and linebacker position. Crockett's line also has to stand strong. They cant let Mitchell overpower them as did Haywood. I hope everybody is healthy. Good luck CC. No prediction yet.

The last time these 2 teams faced was in 2005. Crockett won with Jarvis Perry dragging 2 defenders on his back for the 2 point conversion. It was a very pyshical game. What do you think about the game?

Hunter can run the football very well. I look forward to seeing how he does against the Henry Co Defense. I havent got to see Henry Co play all year and i've really been wanting too. I have heard great things about Allen and Teague. And their numbers show it.

What happened to the DC faithful lastnight? The visitor side looked half empty. Adsmom, you were just talkin about how the crowd effects how you play and all this...where were yall? CC's defense played great. Mosier went down with a look like bad ankle problem so that will hurt the cavs going into the playoffs but i think the big win to close out the regular season will be a big momentum boost for the Cavs.

I'll be there 3. Give me a call or something. I think DC will pass alot. If the cavs stop it then i look for the cavs to win. I hope the cavs bring their A game. They cant play like they did against South Side.

Crockett didnt have a good game last friday. I missed it bc i was watching the vols get beat but i heard they played terribe. i just hope they get it together and play like they played dyersburg. I've also heard that Bass broke his wrist. so i doubt he'll play. The cavs just cant seem to keep players healthy. Good luck to the Cavs.

Al Lewis might play this game. If so it will be a big boost for Crockett. He will show lightning speed even after having ankle surgery. Travis Mosier will hopefully be fully healthy after nagging hamstring problems all year, he played the whole game against Dburg but you could tell it was kinda bothering him at time. And if Bass and Prewitt produce like they are capable of it should be fun to watch. Good luck to CC.

This was a great game! One of the best i've seen in awhile. Both teams played very well. But I think it should've went the other way...I dont know what the ref was thinking when P.A. called a timeout with 2 sec left and didnt give it to him. That was ridiculous. Im not dissing Dburg because they played great, i just think the game shouldve went the other way and if you dont agree you're mistaking. But congrats to dburg.

Shaun went to the airforce and Ron is playin basketball at Jackson state next semester unless he goes somewhere else. and the Crockett team that beat dburg in alamo were up 21-0 and dburg scored with a minute left in the half. Crockett came out the second half a little too confident and let dburg score again. it could have very easily been a blowout. the final was 28-14 CC. and the year before that in dburg, ron johnson couldnt play bc of a collarbone injury and the star players were juniors then.

mosier didnt play that game. i know one person doesnt determine the outcome but you cant cant compare what players did in other games. im just trying to stir up this forum. this is a big game!
