  1. Not real sure honestly. I would say they will be about average for 4A. Probably would of been undersized for 5A.
  2. They will be down a bit. Lose 20+ seniors including Dowell. The competition level drops a bit however from the previous region so that will help them.. the senior class is small but the junior class is pretty strong with probably one of the best players in Middle Tennessee in Tripp Pinion. Sophomore and Freshman classes will be very strong and have a chance to be special in the coming years.
  3. Don't forget White County joined the region as well. Not sure how good they will be, but it will make getting to playoffs that much more difficult.
  4. Have a nephew on the team. Told me last night they started off sluggish against Clay and actually lost that one. Said they picked it up through the day though and looked better. Said jackson scored a bit on them but it was mostly against jv.
  5. Not that I have a dog in the fight but I would venture to say that, in the history of the programs, Clay county has been more relevant overall than Grundy. Neither one of these teams have lit the world on fire as of late but to call another team irrelevant when your own team has been less than terrific is the pot calling the kettle black. Just saying, have a little respect for other struggling programs until you at least have a reason to think you deserve a "top tier coach". The kids that want to move because of the coaching hire will more than likely quit down the road anyway no matter who is brought it. Football players play football no matter the coach that is hired in. Everybody else is dead weight and in my opinion it is better for the program if they do leave. Who ever is hired in should be given a chance. Even the best coaches have had their share of down years at certain stops. Every situation is different.
  6. sounds more like a personal beef than one pertaining to football. I dont know many of his former players who dont think the world of him.
  7. couldn of said it better. I just felt YAIDAD was being a bit harsh. Brown did the best he could with the hand he was dealt, just like Wright and his staff are this year. Talent just hasnt been what it used to be on the mountain.
  8. different look...same results..
  9. for someone so happy to have him gone you sure do enjoy commenting about him every chance you get...move on from it man...doesn't sound like the new staff is doing any better. same record, almost same scores from last year with almost every starter back...from what I hear clay is loving him being back. ....everyone has moved on please grow up and do the same... I hope my warriors put on a show friday. GO BIG BLUE!!
  10. I was referring to the statement by the ballcoach that Dickie at york along with DC ran up the scores
  11. How did Dickie run up the score? It was something like 30-14
  12. the states money does not go to anything but the school, so no it will not effect the program bc the program funds itself.
  13. slightly competitive?.....this coming from a livingston fan who had their first successful season in how many years.....been awhile since york has not had a winning season....i would keep my comments about other teams competitveness to myself until you at least have some success yourself
  14. Mr. Fanatic needs to let the past stay there and start getting facts straight before he tries to sound smart. haha its over...go play basketball.
