  1. I must agree. Hats off to the Devils. They are solid. I am not sure that they will make it deep in the playoffs but should have a comfortable season.
  2. sports fan.....what that equates to is this............Im jealous of Grace. Do you honestly think Hampton or even Cosby can compete with Grace? Wake up,....its over, Grace is at the pinnacle and will not be moving backwards as most programs do year to year. posters...dont forget that private schools are being punished. what ever the enrollment is they must multiply it by 2. Therefore if grace has 200 hundred students walking the hall, on paper they have 400. News flash.........hampton and cosby have 400 walking the halls. If they cant find 11 boys to compete on friday night compared to a private school then tough! Quit all the recruiting crying. You say kids are running to Grace...think about it. Leave a big school thats free and go to a small school and pay thousands of dollars? Boy that sounds like a heck of a deal! It all comes down to fear and sour grapes. Looks like the bobcats wont be in the post season this year,....i look forward to seeing yall in the playoffs. If your 10 and 0 will yall be at home throughout the playoffs? you may just play 15 games this year. We may be 0 and 2 but they way you all pushed us around and flew to the ball i just cant see a 1 a team beating you especially the small rural schools. I am hearing that S Pitt is tough once again. If they too are undefeated when would yall play them and where? who would have home field advantage?
  3. smurf, u got me on this one. It was not as close as I had wished. Saw some good things,...we will get it turned around. hang in there cats, the most important one is the next one.
  4. old eagle or should we say "young eagle" it is obvious you are scared of Grace Christian and what they are doing. Ever since they pushed us around during the fall scrimmage, I have been following them. I feel better now that they have proven to be dominant. At first I felt like our bobcats were hammered by a weak single a team. It appears that they will do very well this year. As for paying for tuition,....i think they know the rules. Good try though,...if you feel so sure pick up the phone and call ronnie carter i am sure he will set you straight. Remember your quote "you know that is happening" get a clue and get a life, all the posting in the world wont help cosby beat grace. There is no way you all can be in the same league, they have way too many weapons and the big guys to back it up. Good luck Rams you operate a first class program.
  5. sorry diddler, I found out that you are not 2A but 1 A. That hurts my feelings worse! In your opinion, will you all fair well in your region? If you tell me that your team is down, then I guess I should be concerned cause the more I think about it, we just got out played and we got guys that can flat GO! I read in another thread that your two play-makers graduated.
  6. I would have to say 3 td's better than DB. They are struggling....seem young at the skill position. Jeff Co however seemed to be more physical and had tons of depth.
  7. OK, where do I start? Obviosuly I am biased,......but the Cats did fine on Monday night. No reason to hit panic button. Yes we got smacked in the mouth and were told "God loves us" all at the same time. In all honesty, it was an impressive program, no smoke and mirrors just hard nosed football on both sides. Coach Helton was calm and collective,...when it was over he ran the kids right there in front of everybody (not sure if it was punishment or needed conditioning but that shows me he knows there is more in the tank,....he's just gotta get it out of them.) As far as the cats getting beat by a fast growing 2A program,....I must admit it was 27 - 21 in favor of Grace. When the refs left our boys were mad,...they wanted another shot at trying to get into the endzone. It was one of those games where the team with the ball last was going to win. I am not so sure we could have stopped their # 24 or # 5,...man those guys are the real deal. Good news is, we came out healthy got a wake up call and got to see some really nice facilities. GCA, when your new stadium is completed it will be an awesome venue for Friday night football, we look forward to returing the favor next fall! (more than you know)
  8. i agree and after watching them play Grace Christian (2A) they better not get injured. They clearly had more speed and talent but lacked the knock out punch. I don't know at this point whats going on but I expect them to dominate Carter in the jamboree or we may be in for a long season.
