You are correct Red Power! That has been my point all along, we are a TEAM! We all know that the players get on here and read these posts, and it's ashamed that there are certain people who name numbers or names of players "assuming" they know who individuals are talking about. All they did was throw a dagger at that player. Every single player on the HCHS Football team deserves "KUDO"S for a job well done! I have only made it to the first two games this year, but i always try my best to listen on the radio. Listening to Coach Gaddis, he always mentions the team as "we" on the radio....... "we" need to come out stronger in the second half, "we" need to work harder, etc..... "we" are ONE. Working together got them to where they are today. They are all winners. I again will listen on the radio, hope to hear the crowd raising cane! Does anyone know if there is a way we can talk a tv station into filming the games and playing them like on that channel 3? Maybe not a tv station but an individual? Just curious. It would be nice for the ones that aren't able to come out, to get to watch this awesome team. Good Luck Patriots!

No, I'm actually biased to #38 Mr. Robbie Gallimore now that you want to bring it up! He is an outstanding player and never gets any recognition. It's ashamed that the parents get on here and talk about their own boy like he hung the moon. Like everyone on here doesn't know who some of you are....it's so obvious. And #16 does have the best hands that I"VE seen (make sure you get the quote right), and i also think that #6 has great hands as well. No one said your boy wasn't "SKILLED", I'm just saying, he's not the only one. People like you give the REAL FANS OF FOOTBALL a bad name! Good luck Patriots! GO #38! HC fans will be in full force come friday night! I feel the Big Red will come out hungry and will play hard from the get go. We have the Best QB, WR's, DB's and so on! We need to quit the talk about the 3 headed monster. This HC team has LOTS of talent, not just 3 guys....seems some forget this at times. Give credit where credit is due. We've got this far this year by having the best TEAM, not the best 2 or 3! GO BIG RED!!!

I agree, our guys have got to stay with their receivers. We had guys that were unsure who they were supposed to cover, and it led to others doing the work of two men instead of just his own guy. Thank goodness we do have a couple of guys in the backfield that can play great D when others are not so sure of what to do. I do agree we will see Marsalis in on D, and Allen as well. Coach will work on this and our guys will be ready for Hardin County come friday night.

Skylar Haley had a heck of a game! He's always on the field and he made great catches and played great on defense as well. He is coming on strong for the Patriots. This group of guys has so much talent. Marsalis can make the big plays happen, he proved that once again last night. Allen is one of the strongest guys i've seen play in high school football. Other teams are keying in on these two guys, but i was proud to see guys like Allen congratulate other players when they do well. These guys are a TEAM and they are very unselfish. You don't see that much at high schools. Congrats Patriots! Keep up the great work.

Great job patriots! I got to listen on radio, surgery pushed back till next Wed......i wish i could have made the trip. I heard that we were sloppy at the very beginning of the game, we had players dropping the ball. What happened? My nephew said the field was awful. they said it had a small hill on the 50 yard line and dips and rises all on the field. That probably didn't help any, but still no excuse for this quality of players. Sounds like we still got the job done, but i am certain coach gaddis will correct their mistakes on the practice field this week. Did Haley get hurt last night? They said he made a hard hit on a guy and it broke his helmet.? Is it a neck injury? PatsDoc can you give us an injury update? Glad to hear that we can depend on receivers like Haley and others if it comes to a passing game, How many td's did allen end up with....3 ?

Hello HC! WOW! The game was unreal! As i have posted last time (it's been a while), i have been in and out of hospital... think i'm better, then something else happens....guess it comes with age or meanness. I did in fact listen to it on the radio. First off let me say, i agree we have great talent in 40, 34 and 3. These guys run circles around anyone, but i must say our receivers also did a great job. We forget sometimes that we have more than just a handful of certain players, because that's all that's ever mentioned. I hear that their are "several" players being scouted, not only 3. These guys are great athletes indeed, but always remember when someone scores, it's not "just" because they are great, it also means they have a great team. Guys that block for them, receivers that catch for them, the guys who kick the ball deep and the guys who kick it thru the upright. I am not as knowledgable as most of you, but do know that HC is blessed with more than 3 guys with great talent. Does anyone know if gallimore is going to play college ball? Also, i will be in Nashville (St Thomas) the night of Munford game, does anyone know how i can listen to it?

I can't believe it my friend! You are starting to get to me...... I agree with you on this one. I want our guys to blow them away as everyone else does, but let's concentrate on correcting the mistakes you guys said we had friday night.....we don't want to ever get beatin by OUR mistakes. Keep workin' hard, correct the mistakes and stay focused. I also agree with SS. Our guys are soooo fired up for this game! They definetyly are going to go after them and go after them hard! My perdiction is, HC is going to jump on them hard and heavy and FAST!!! I think we will see HC play harder than we have seen them yet. I see the MERCY RULE going into effect once again. Again, I'm not trying to put the horse before the cart too early, but i do know when you want something bad enough....you will tend to play hard for it. Great post! I agree 100 percent. Dicksons defense shut down our middle like no one else we've played. Of course, everyone is going to try to do this. They are going to go after #3 and #34. They are hearing too much about them. They aren't stupid. I think Liberty may come out strong but when they see we can do more than run the ball up the middle, they will get fustrated and that's when we'll take off and they will become a different team. I feel they will be stronger in the first half and be confused on what they need to do, who they need to cover more, and will be an easier team for the patriots to play the second half. I also like your score. My prediction will be very close to yours. I will go 41-14 HC. GO BIG RED!

i was at the game as well. And the man who gave us the inside stats on some of the players comes from very HIGH up (so to speak). I don't ever recall "The best in the history of high school football" my friend, MY words were the best I've seen in High school football. I'm sure you know better, but if you want to repeat what I say, be sure it's MY WORDS and NOT YOURS! The stats are correct. From reading your posts, you never like being wrong, but this case you don't know what you're talking about. I also think Marsalis is the best QB i've seen in High school football, so you can disagree with that as well if you like. These are my opioions an my opinions only. You were the one who started puting negativeaty in the things i was saying and saying they were incorrect. You my friend are wrong, so lets move on....... Also, i heard the scouts that were there were from Vandy. I saw 2 have on green shirts with gold writing, but never was close enough to see what the script said....the 3rd guy, I don't know if he was with them or somewhere else. You have false information! The first one was thrown into the dirt by a miscue from another player! He dived but it was uncatchable. 2 throws to him were great catches for 1st downs, one great pass for a touchdown, one that was a great catch and they ruled back for he didn't have control of the ball (which on tape is debatable) then he was sandwiched....and one that you are correct that was a good pass and he missed. So do the math, he didn't miss as many as he caught, he missed one. #2 missed 2 of the 3 that were passed to him and #40 caught 1 for 1 and #48 was 1 for 1. Thanks to my friend who saw the tape and has the stats! And I never worry about getting "carried away", I know what the HC team has and what they are capable of. Marsalis is a very smart QB, he knows when to run and when to pass. I agree that we haven't had a team to play yet, but it's evident my opinions are different from yours and that is fine. We can agree to disagree and move on to Liberty. I feel this will be a much better game, but I'm confident that we will win. The crowd will continue to travel and support HCHS. I also thought our band did a great job and looked awesome!

I agree that this may be our test to see what we're made of. Our guys just need to continue working and bring a little something different to the table each week that is unexpected. Our front lines on both sides of the ball are improving greatly. We have strength, quickness and most of all the ability to be THE team this year. Pats continue to keep their composure and not get over confident. We don't want a loose a game that we should win, like we did last year. We will be ready! Anyone know the name or number of this RB that is suppose to be so good?

I agree that they concentrated on sowing up our middle and trying to keep 3 & 34 under their wraps, but these guys still penetrated and got the job done. This led to opening up doors elsewhere. Skylar had a great game, I've heard many others brag about what great hands he's got, and he's got the best hands I've seen in High school football. Robbie had a great game as well. To all the ones who spoke negative the past couple of weeks about our defensive and our passing game, i would like to have your input now......Seemed to me that Marsalis was struggling during the scrimmages a little on the passing, but i knew what he's capable of and he thru right on the money last night. You couldn't have asked for anything better. Dequila (not sure of the spelling), is doing great. This young man has worked hard and it shows. Dominique and Mac continue to show great strength and quickness. I'm so impressed with our team this year! Does anyone know the status on Mac's injury? It's hard to believe that we will only continue to get better. Thanks for a great game Patriots!

I enjoy dc fans remarks. Although my blood runs true BIG RED thru and thru, you are quite correct on saying not always the more talented team wins. It's just a fact that we always enjoy coming to DC and we truly enjoy having you here in the big town on Pariee;} It's always an exciting game when two rivals are battling it out. It should be a good game. I feel our boys are ready and pumped up! I feel although it will be a good game, we will be victorious!

When HC is playing a football game, home or away, there is always someone tailgating! As far as statistics, I'm only interested in the present and the future records. Let's add up the total wins for four years straight after this season and see what the figures are. One game at a time. The records show how much our program has improved and the talent we have. You climb a ladder from the ground up, step by step to the top. You never start at the top and come down. HC is climbing the ladder! Is it FRIDAY yet?! Go Big Red!!
