Sports Wise: Football is my first love. I played a lot when I was in school. I'm a D-B Alumnus through and through. UT is my college team and the Cowboys have been my favorite team since third grade.
Good news on one player. Zac Fleming father sent me and others an e-mail today that said that the x-rays taken last night indicate his leg isn't broken and he is in a temparary cast. I don't know about the Conley injury though.
Hey dbfan91
I didn't think many people knew about the Oakridge team figuring out DB's radio frequency between the sideline and the press box that year at Oakridge. The Oakridge players kept saying on the field in front of DB's Off. players were going to run this play or that play befor the ball was snapped. The DB's players ran over to the sideline and told Clark that OR knew the plays before they lined up. Clark came up with a good way to tell for sure. He had a call sent down from the pressbox and changed it off mic at the side line. The Ridgers said they knew the play and DB scored a TD. That's got to be a classic moment of a big rivalry. Thats right up with the New England Pats.
Justin Wright will never see the field. Is he a walkon? Don't get me wrong Devrin is a great high school running back. It's a big jump to Div. 1 college football.
I would lay money on all three of those weigh over 150 pounds. What would it be like having a 240 pound MLB hitting him head on? I don't think most coaches would put him on the field at that weight. He may get bigger though, but could he keep that speed?
He is really fast but he is only 5'8" and 150lbs. He will have to grow a lot for major colleges to have real interest. He would be likely to be hurt a lot at that weight.
