Yes sir! I think some of you are forgetting this is a blog site and nothing more. Quit wearing your feeling on your shoulders it really doesnt matter on here but thanks for keeping this site entertaining.

I never bad mouth the kids. Lack of leadership and desire to get better is something every school goes through from time to time. And since you like to dig in the fault from september maybe you should read the whole entire blog and you would know why I said what I said. Thanks

The kids had not had a senior class to look up to and when I came in had no work ethic. Now after seeing how some of the upper classman failed to work hard and could not accomplish the goals set by the team. These kids have come together and push themselves everyday in the weight room and in the classroom and I am proud of them. Next years team has learned from others mistakes and is ready to play at the varsity level and have a winning season. How many names do you have on here since you just made this 2 hours ago. I have nothing to hide. The kids at ravenwood need a coach and everyone else keeps saying how horrible it is over there with bad admin., drugs, etc so dont try to dog me for stepping up to the plate with the will and desire to teach and coach those kids the game I love. By the way anyone can coach football but not anyone can coach Metro football and once you have you can say you have just about been through every possible challenge that a coach can go through on and off the field. There is nothing left to be said on this topic but "Who will the next coach be?"

i saw how hard my coaches worked that taught me and got the opportunity to see it as a player and after i played. I could care less if people think I am a heck-of-a-coach or not. Its not about me its all about the kids! By the way I went to a metro school when I was in high school and I have to say I had great coaches that prepared me for high school and college ball and also for life. Runtheball is one of the best coaches I have ever been around, just thought I would throw that out there as well. By the way, I wont ever be blowing anything up your pant leg and you can take that to the bank!

I learned how to coach in college during and after i played ball.

Yea get started. You know get a job, support a family,get some years under our belts etc. In case you forgot this isnt Texas or a private school. Most coaches have to teach too.

Some of us only came to metro to get started teaching after college.

Being Desperate and wanting an opportunity are 2 totally different things.

Unless you coached under a person who knew you wanted to be a HC and showed you how to do everything right. Thats great on the job training so non would be needed.

Im thinking about doing a half day clinic on how to make offensive and defensive play call sheets and practice schedules on Microsoft Excel. This is something I have gotten really good at making and would just like to share my knowledge. I can make many different types according to your offense or defensive game plans and types of practices. Just want to see if anyone is interested before I approach my principal about using our schools comuter lab to host this clinic. Let me know what you think.

I agree both are very full of knowledge and I have learned so much from both. But 5 down 5 across was the first thing they taught me when I started coaching in METRO.
