  1. Yeah, he should have been tossed out! I'm sure of what he did, and more than once, he deserved it! Dirty player! /mad.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="mad.gif" />
  2. Well you know what they say about opinions, they are like ...... /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" />
  3. I hope the Rebs play HV as tough as they played GP. If they do it will be another great game to watch. GO REBS!!!!
  4. Hopin for the Rebs to make it there, they deserve it. They gotta stay tough for the next 2 weeks to get there. Play tough like you can Rebs, your fans love you guys and we'll be there cheerin you on. /flower.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":flower:" border="0" alt="flower.gif" />
  5. The Director of schools was called and informed about this by family members. I guess it just proves what a big do nothing Parkins is!!!
  6. Tough loss for the Rebs, a true heartbreaker. The game was an edge of your seat nailbitter. I think ALL the fans got their 6 bucks worth. The Rebs don't need to hang their heads they are a tough bunch and they played full of heart and displaying true teamwork. Tough 2 weeks ahead, keep playing like they did this week and they will be fine. I hope GP & all the rest got a little more respect for the Rebs after last night's game, they should. They are a great bunch of guys on and off the field. They were even helping stretch a GP player who was cramping on the field last night. CLASS ACTS!!!! SO proud of you guys!!!
  7. Oh really! How are you the authority on SG? Do you or did you attend & play football @ SG?
  8. Looks like most teams in the region would like to see GP with another region loss on their record, no matter who beat them.
  9. Every team in this conference has lost atleast 1 game this season, so who knows. It wouldn't be wise for any of these teams to be too cocky or they may get suprised on game night. This is the kind of season that if you get caught sleeping you may be going home with a loss on your record. That's a good thing, nobody sits comfortably on top this year. The fans are getting their money's worth.
  10. The 1st string QB will be out there Friday night. There isn't any reason he wouldn't be. Seems like he does a pretty good job from what I've seen. If the passes are there and the receiver doesn't make the catch, you can't blame it on the QB whoever he is. I wouldn't say all 3 QB's are even, 1st string is defintely the better man for the job. Good luck Friday night SG!
  11. If CD plays with the intensity they did against SG the Buffs may have their hands full. With it being CD's Homecoming they may be fired up and suprise WG. It could be a close one. Who knows, it has been a wild and unpredictable year in 1-2A. No one can sit comfortably at the top. There have been alot of suprises and I'm sure there will be many more these last 4 weeks.
  12. Not making any excuses for SG, but if the game would have been called clean the score would have been alot different. SG didn't underestimate CD, they had alot of players that were still not a 100 percent from the Crockett game. They saw how hard CD played @ the Border Bash before the season started and they knew it would be a hard hitting game. Granted it wasn't a pretty win, but the boys were just glad to make it out with the win. They will be working hard this week to get ready for another tough region game. Hopefully the guys will be in better shape for the GP game and bring their A game on Friday night.
  13. That's why the away team's fans are supposed to sit at the far end of the bleachers (known as the visitors section). Then you don't have to worry about that.
  14. Thanks for the info! The new school looked very nice when we went by in the spring on the way to play baseball @ Rutledge.
  15. Is Grainger's field @ the new school nice & how is parking?
  16. I think you are exagerating, the grass has NEVER been that big. The field is always mowed. Do you need a pretty field to play ball? Thanks for the info, just wandering about that.
  17. Nease isn't a threat to anyone. /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" /> He did SG a favor by leaving because he was LAZY. /ohmy.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":o" border="0" alt="ohmy.gif" /> They don't seem to be missing him one bit. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  18. Looks like its been a while since a WG victory over Cloudland WG v/s Cloudland Games: 19 (8-11) Sept. 14, 1973 W 8-0 Sept. 13, 1974 L 0-14 Sept. 12, 1975 W 37-8 Sept. 10, 1976 W 21-8 Sept. 09, 1977W 16-0 Sept. 08, 1978 W 16-7 Sept. 21, 1979 W 14-6 Sept. 26, 1980 L 6-26 Sept. 25, 1981 W 35-16 Sept. 24, 1982 W 3-0 Oct. 06, 1989 L 6-13 Oct. 05, 1990 L 0-34 Oct. 11, 1991 L 14-46 Oct. 09, 1992 L 6-35 Oct. 22, 1999 L 19-57 Oct. 20, 2000 L 0-46 Aug. 26, 2005 L 0-41 Aug. 25, 2006 L 0-42 Aug. 30, 2007 L 7-22
  19. New rules have been placed on fundraising that limit them. The county parents are helpful in anyway they can be. I just want to know where is the lottery money that was supposed to help us all? It should be there for the shortfalls as well as teacher pay increases and improving all TN schools.
  20. I'm not bashing players. He's the best player they have. /smile.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  21. The truth is the city schools always have and always will get more than the county schools and better pay for their teachers, as well as highly paid coaches. In case you don't read the paper the county is scrambling to pay for fuel, the raise on electric bills coming in Oct. and the latest cut is no new books in our libraries, so just asking isn't even an option. Just covering the basics for our schools is a struggle. They have to struggle while city schools have people lining up to hand them money. We ARE very appreciative of anything we get.
