Oh, its only Monday and that aint cool....will seem like it takes two weeks for Friday to get here. Now, everyone realize that win or lose, it is near the seasons end for both teams....with that said, both teams have several players that are likely to have continued careers at the next level, so.....may we all enjoy the best game we have seen all year and pray that there are no injuries, especially that could be the "career ending" type. Good Luck Hillsboro, but WIN BIG RED!!!!!

It is rumored perhaps, and a QB/DB possibly leaning toward Florida, or wherever he wants to go. Lot of talent on the field Friday nite for sure. This will be the best game in the state!!!

Melrose played with pure heart tonight and wanted that football game. That game could have went either direction. That is the beauty of high school football at this point in the season. I expect another simular next week. I think a lot of people have been wanting this matchup to happen.

My buddy said that the Melrose fans were very classy and complimentary after the game and told our players to go win the State!!!!!!! He said the Mound is one of the most awesome football atmospheres you will ever see. What a game....way to go Pats!!!!! Awesome game Wildcats!!!!

The greatest thing about these boards is that all of us on here thankfully play no role in the outcome of this game. We all just have our opinions and biases, thats it. With that said, Henry County fans....we have no reason to believe, based on what the Pats have done every game so far, that they wont win this one too. At this point in the season anyone can have a subpar game and lose, but if they will stay consistent then the odds are in our favor....stay positive and believe. The players want this game just as bad as us fans, probably more....they have big goals in mind so they will be fine!!!!

Congrats Pats!!! This game was exactly what the patriots needed. They fell behind for the first time all year. They were completely stopped on their first offensive drive. The offense had to play with pressure on them. This was best experience we could have hoped for to prepare for the "from here on out." How about that qb sack by Dominique at the close of the half. I think this was pivotal in turning the momentum in our direction, and we started the 2nd half and never looked back.

I do agree that this is a very important topic of conversation at this point in the season. Our kicking game has not been a factor so far, but we all know that sooner or later is likely will be. I mean, how many football games have we watched in our lives that had an outcome decided by either hit or missed fieldgoal or extra point?

Agreed. Hopefully the people of our fair county realize the how great an accomplishment it is for this fine young man to be nominated. Congrats Marsalis, you deserve it and Im pulling for you to win it!!!!

So true...when HC won the Region, I didnt hear anyone say...."hey, the 3 headed monster won the region." Every sport has its certain "prime time" players, but even Michael Jordan would always pay great tribute his TEAM every night when they won. Though it often seemed like it, even MJ couldnt win it all by himself. Support them all fans....and let them know you do this Friday nite!!!!!!

Any of us who have played sports, especially big games such as the playoffs, knows that the crowd plays a large factor in the developing or creating of momentum. We have some of the best fans anywhere around I am confident of that. That being said, I am personally campaigning for the crowd this Fri nite to be a new record. This is the one thing we can do to help contribute to the outcome of the game. So, come on out fans....bring someone with you....lets rock the house like never before and give the Pats the energy they so deserve from us!!!!!! It could make just the difference in a close game.

Yeah, football is different brand of ball over there for everyone but Clarksville, huh? I feel sorry for you having to branch out from your own hometown to get your high school football fix. Go ahead and speak about your opinions about the rest of the state since you have no other choice. Just realize the rest of the state really doesnt care what that is. I understand your jealousy of Henry County. I might be too if the shoe was on the other foot. Enjoy, while we read on past your posts. But, just one question while we are at it.....why was Allen listed as one of the Tennessean's top 12 prospects(Dandy Dozen)? Perhaps you should go onto website and check out his highlights and show me where you see him being soft and avoiding tackles? You aint too soft if you have blown away the school record for touchdowns.

Anyway, am i only one who has been a little concerned over the call backs on penalities at times of big gains? Do you all not feel like these will more likely be a lot more costly from this point on?
