Comexx, who are you? I am a GHS fan and love the Devils but your posts are embarrassing. Do you ever have an intelligent thought? Let the guys play and quit making bulletin board material. I too believe that GHS is the best team this side of Knoxville and possibly beyond but until we prove that, how about toning it down. As of now NOBOBY, GHS or SC is anything more than champs of their respective districts!

35-14 SS. SS is the best team GHS has played thus far and you know the results of the first two games. Whether or not GHS gets their offense in gear or not, they are unable to stop the run as evidenced by giving up >500 yards rushing in the first two games. GHS will get better as the year goes on but will be unable to compete with certain teams including SS.

Why did Venerable not play?

When a batter reaches base on an error, how is that scored for the purpose of batting stastics? Does it count as an official at bat? Does it enhances the batters "on base percentage"?

My post represented my opinion only. I did not mean to offend you or anyone else. The game will be decided on the court by the girls of which both Dyersburg and Greeneville are very deserving.

On paper, Greeneville is a decided favorite against Dyersburg. However that is why you play these things. All things considered and barring no major injuries, Greeneville should win and based on their bracket, should also advance against the WE/Oakland winner and play for the crown on Saturday night. Everyone in the other half of the bracket has a chance including high scoring Cleveland. I just wish safe travels to all teams and that Greeneville brings home the gold.

I did not get to listen to the game. Was it as bad as the score sounds?

GHS should win. If they are able to establish the run, they will win by a comfortable margin. To assume that GHS will only put 14 points on the scoreboard is unrealistic. GHS 35 TN High 21

Is this game going to be played on Thursday night or Friday?

Obviously by my user name you can tell I am a Greeneville fan. However I do like to be realistic. I have seen West play this year and they are a fine team with few weaknesses. Overall though, I would rate Greeneville slightly better. West is stronger than GHS in overall depth, the offensive line, and the kicking game (this could be a factor). Greeneville is stronger in all other aspects including the running game. Thomas Lister is one of the best backs, if not the best in Northeast TN. This said, I predict: GHS 28 - MW 14 Just my opinion. The real outcome will be decided on the field as it should be. Good luck to both teams and go Green!
