MBA freshman beat them 31-7 on thursday. It was 21-0 after 90 seconds and then MBA started subbing. MBA probly would have ended up close to 100. Last year's score was 42-0. The future does not look too bright either for Ryan.

I don't know if i speak for everyone on CoachT, but im getting sick of the three Ensworth fans on here. Ever since yall beat MBA it seems like all you can do is talk about how great Ensworth is and how every other person is a bad sport or every team plays without class. Funny thing is your posts represent the average Ensworth student, parent, or graduate. The people iv'e gotten to know all think their better than everyone just because the school can afford a clocktower. You three students just post on here because you have nothing better to do at that school than play on your new apples in class. NEWSFLASH Ensworth has 0 gold balls. Start floating your boat when you get a few. In my opinion yall are the 4th best in DII anyway. We need some BA fans on here, they can talk since they have like 12 ships' or something crazy like that. (I am completely unbiased towards Ensworth, I just thought i'd like to point that out)

Im not taking anything away from the team. They are the best freshman football team i have ever seen play. All their players play hard and they have depth. The halftime score should not have been more though. They scored on an 80 yeard screen pass with 1 minuetes left. You are right about 14 of MBA's points on the backups, but plenty of Smyrna's points were on MBA's backups also.

Well i don't know about the loveing each other part. When MBA played them they were screaming at each other the whole first half due to their miscues. The MBA freshman are 7-1 only losing to Smryna, and it that game is was 8-0 at half. They have a couple of studs on their team. They played Spring Hill thursday and won 42-0 with 35 of those points in 15 minuetes with the startes in.They play Father Ryan Thursday for their final game. Any word on how father ryan is this year? who are their best players etc?

Jacob being out is terrible news for the tigers. He does not get enough credit at receiver because Ensworth does not pass that often. What most people don't realize is that you couldn't just stack the box before now, because if you let your guard down they could throw a pass to Jacob. He is by far their best receiver. Way better than Matt Reed or Michael Dunn. Although stats may not show it he is. He is also an incredible kid and all around athlete. He is a very close freind of our families along with the whole Carter family. I have seen Jacob pick up a game on the beach that he'd never played before and be better than all the veterans in his first try. He is the best all around athlete i have ever seen. I hate to hear about his injury.

That is not true. It would have put MBA up by 1 with about 8 minuetes and kept their momentum. Ensworth stopped them, forced a punt and then scored on the following drive. That is why it was a backbreaker. MBA would have won in my opinon. I still think MBA is the better theam and if they face each other again i promise you it will be a different outcome.

Yes I am well aware Aaron came from Lebonan. He is good freinds with another boy from Lebonan who has been here since 7th grade. Aaron also never made below a 94 on his report card last year. So don't get started with the whole recruiting gesture if that is what you "implied" on the word migrated. I have heard Mount Juliet is good. The lipscomb freshman are terrible. Who do you think were MBA's strong players and visa-versa? MBA is going to have to pull a tough one out. Their starting runningback is hurt as long with their starting cb. The 2nd string rb who gets at least 50% of carries is out too. Also the starting fullback and middle linebacker supposively has a broken back so I doubt he will play. I have a few freinds at MBA so this information should be pretty accurate. I've heard Smyrna is a good team. I'd like to come and watch this also.

MBA's frosh knocked the snot out of franklin co, blackman, cookeville, and put up 24 points on indy in the 4th to beat them. Very strong group. Has a stable full of runningbacks and a great qb in Aaron Simonis. They also have a 6'8 tight end elliot watts and a 6'2 wr with a 34 inch verticle in Austin Blackwell. They have a good sized line and a strong linebacking corps. Well coached and well conditioned. They play Smyrna thursday who is maybe the best freshman team in the state.

I don't know about many freshman teams this year, but MBA hasa good one. Their 3-0 and just came off a whipping of Blackman and supposively was missing their starting fb/lb. Blackman lost to Riverdale by one point, so they must have been pretty good. MBA plays Smryna's frosh in 2 weeks. What other schools have strong frosh teams?

Wow. What a game. Hillsboro fouht hard. Great job MBA. MBA needs alot of work but I am confident that this team will win another championship. Undefeated, maybe, but back-to back- gold balls is defenetly a possibility. How about Joe Reigle?? Sophmore and 3 huge picks in 4 games. He is a great kid too. What a game.

MBA sure looks good for the future. The JV team is 1-0 and the freshman team is 2-0 with a solid win over Independence, and a massecre over Cookeville. Looks like the big red has some talent for the next few years. Expecially with this years team being young.
