On the topic of college, its what you make of it. A highly motivated individual at Northeast state can be receiving a far better education than someone who lays around and plays video games all day at princeton. It all comes down to what you want to make of yourself. However I don't think the statement that "college is college" is true. They each offer a unique experience, and what it comes down to is not whats on the resume, but what impact it had on your character. A kid doesn't have to play college football to be successful or develop character, he just needs to find a place that will push him out of his comfort zone a bit, whether it be in football, some other sport, or just the classroom.
